Unusual combination of cuisines, very freshly prepared, and as authentic as I have seen in this country. Salads were clearly put together to order, and the pelmeni and manti were excellent main dishes. I would go back again!

My mom was keen to go back to Rus Uz after attending a private dinner party here. I relented and really enjoyed it. We split a smoked fish platter that was nicely presented and tasty featuring smoked salmon, butterfish and sturgeon. We voted the smoked...More

Traditional surpa, plot, and shashlik were nice variety from other restaurants. Especially tasty lamb in the dishes. A couple suggestions to the restaurant: we arrived late in the evening and by 10 pm the staff was clearing tables around other patrons who were still eating,...More

Had the Piroshki and pelmeni were very good. The ambiance is nice as well. Good variety of dishes and the waiter was very helpful in choosing dishes. Got to taste my friends plov which was flavorful and delicious as well.

Excellent taste of a little different cuisine. Almost everything was very good to excellent. I particularly liked the cabbage roll like dish , I think it was called Manti, the smoked fish and the desserts. The only disappointment was the Plov which was a little...More

The pilaf (plov) was mediocre, but pirozhki (meat pies) were good, and lamb shank with vegetables was excellent. We ordered compot (homemade fruit drink with apricote, cherry, apple, and peaches), and got a liquid without any fruits, which is not right. The service was good.

This restaurant rivals some of the best restaurants we have been to actually in Russia! The desserts are fresh and bursting with flavor while the entrees are hearty and genuine. We will definitely be back.

A blend of Russian and Uzbekistan (Rus-Uz) cuisine, this restaurant was on my list of international places to try for a while. During the late lunch hour it was not too crowded, so we were seated very quickly and always had prompt service. We ordered...More

We finally went last night for the first time after reading about it for a few years. It was worth the drive to Va. The vodka infused martinis were delicious. The Russian beer was pretty good, too. We had several hot appetizers, which were similar,...More

No dress code that I noted. But it was cool that night and no one was in shorts and flip flops. Best to check directly with the restaurant.
