Want a turkey sandwich? They will carve it off a fresh baked turkey--just like home. Same is true of their other roasted meats. I had a grilled chicken sandwich this week. Nice and moist. Good veggies for it too.

Mike's Cafe opened 5-6 years ago and remains consistently good. His meats are always "off the bone"... one of the few places I know I can get a real roast turkey sandwich -- other than the Thanksgiving leftovers. Sandwiches are large for the smaller appetite.

The line is long but worth it and it moves quickly. Best sandwiches in the area! Come hungry. Salads are good too, but not their specialty.

Only get meat sandwiches you can see! A prepared Reuben had 4 one in pieces of unchewable gristle & the rest sauerkraut. A waste of time in line & $$!!

It's a cold windy day. The line to get a sandwich and cup of soup was rather long but it moved pretty quickly thanks to the many sandwich makers. You see, Mike's makes their sandwiches to order, their soup from scratch. For under $10 we had a whole sandwich and a cup of hot soup. The place was very clean.... More

I am working at my client's office in Ballston and don't know the area. I tried Mike's Cafe today for a lunch sandwich based on Yelp reviews. I'm a fan now! I had the tuna melt on ciabatta. I was impressed with the large selection of breads and fixings (sprouts, peppers, olives). The ciabatta roll was very fresh. Line moved... More

This place was an OK option to get a sandwich for lunch. Based on the lunchtime crowd, though, it seems to be quite popular. As a note, there is very little seating inside. There are a lot of tables outside, but the primary business seemed to be take-out. I ordered a cheese steak sandwich on a "hoagie" bun. The sandwich... More

Cheap, greasy spoon. Breakfast and breakfast burrito not very good. I would highly recommend the Cosi restaurant around the corner.
