Came to Arlington for my grandmother’s service at the cemetery. A local relative suggested to go to William Jeffreys for lunch afterward. It was a quick ride from the cemetery, and really had a great atmosphere/Decor on the inside. I had The poutine the start...with and the buffalo wrap for my lunch, and I was very pleased. Other family members had the burger, shrimp po boy and the fried chicken sandwich. Everyone was very happy! We also had a great server! I didn’t catch her name, but she was very sweet to our little group!!More

We got outside seating in a nice evening. The wait person was pleasant and very efficient. We ordered a bottle of wine from a limited wine menu and ordered our dinners. When the food arrived, that's when I determined it was meh. Her bowl was...presented nice but the balance amounts of food were off...little bit of this, not enough of that. My burger was not RARE as I questioned first if they could do it and then said great, I like it rare. To top it off, the fries were wimpy...they were dark maybe for 1 of 2 reasons or both...they were fresh potatoes that needed to be cooked longer or it was in fat that was maybe older than it should be. But they were wimpy.More

My friend and I are on vacation and decided to try it out.....don’t. Not only was my friends food wrong mine was burnt. I got a grilled chicken sandwich and the only thing I tasted was char. We got mimosas and my first one was...good but when he brought me my second it was waaaaaay to strong. I asked for more orange juice to cut it but it was still too strong! And our check was $43 for awful food!More

My co-workers and I (a party of 17 by the way) attempted to patronize this establishment today but we were seeming turned away. We arrived a little early before opening since the doors were open we walked in to get out of the cold. We...also had to pregnant co-workers in our group as well. Someone I guess who seemed to be "the manager" did not want us to stand in lobby because they weren't "set-up" yet whatever that meant. If you don't want customer attempting to come in early then keep the doors locked.More

Hello and thank you for taking the time to leave your review. I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience (not to mention complete lack of empathy) you and your group suffered at our expense. I do feel there was a terrible miscommunication that occurred however that...More

What a nice lunch we had! We were all interested in their Tavern Burger, which was served with bacon jam and a fried egg. It was delicious! They also have a nice selection of beers and refreshing cocktails. Try the special cocktail made with watermelon...(all their fruit-containing cocktails are made with fresh fruit). Great service, too. This was definitely a home run!More

Had a very nice Saturday brunch here. The food was delicious and well prepared, but what blew me away was their DIY BLOODY MARY BAR! What a great idea! I enjoyed by short stay here very much, and can't wait to go here again!

We came by for $1 oysters. They were blue points and were pretty good. I've started to value speed and good service. This delivered on both fronts. The reuben was on pumpernickel and was good and hot. The wings were good. The buttermilk chicken sandwich...on brioche was good as well. Will go backMore

We came today with a group of 4 people. Everyone enjoyed the food and the atmosphere was just fine. The service was good. The restaurant had an excellent special on the Build Your Own hamburgers. My entire meal cost for the hamburger, fries and part...of a dessert and coffee, including the tip, was only $13.00. We will come back because the hamburger was very tasty and prepared exactly as I specified.More

We sat outside. No server came out. My wife went inside and ordered. Got the wings but the fries were not there. Told the server and got the fries.

Service was a bit slow but then it was busy. The food was excellent and the staff were very welcoming. Their choice of music in the background was superb (60's Rock!). The choice of beers was impressive and I tried the"micro of the month" -...really good.More
