I was just introduced to the place. The veggies and fried tofu were delicious. The other plates at our table looked equally awesome. Will be back soon!

Matsutake sits next to security in the center of Reagan National Airport. The fish is fresh, nicely prepared and quite tasty. Tempura was very good, as well. I have eaten here several times, and in the one at Dulles, as well, with no complaints.

Many would think eating Sushi in an airport wouldnt be so good not the case with Matsutake I have eaten here several times and never disappointed if you like Sushi and have timewhen flying out eat here also it is outside security
Landing at National and don't want to cook / eat out? Get the take-out. Well prepared and properly packed including a small cup for the soy sauce packets. Even after traveling and sitting in the refrigerator the sushi rolls and nigiri were very tasty.
Overall a few good experience and surprisingly good Japanese food considering their captive audience. I will go back next time I have a layover.
