Wilson Hardware is your typical Clarendon brunch - in a restaurant that's more like a bar and thus not particularly nice, has your typical Arlington brunch items, and in typical Arlington style, jacks up the prices for pretty standard items - two slices of french...toast, some potatoes and a tiny fruit cup (disappointingly loaded with cheap melon slices even during the summer when so many fruits are in season). The coffee was "bottomless" but I finished a cup before anyone came to refill. The food here is good and the portions are substantial. I can't say it was memorable or notably better than a cheaper chain, though.More

Friday night date night was saved by delicious dinner at Wilson's Hardware. From the outside, we weren't sure what to expect. Once we walked in onto the main floor we were taken aback by the modern decor, high ceilings, and spacious layout. We enjoyed happy...hour drinks and appetizers before our main course. I had the salmon and my husband had the stuffed chicken. Both served with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Sooooooo good!! Service was excellent as well. Desert options were limited. We had a chocolate slice of cake which was very very scrumptious. For the price point, location and quality, everything worked out well. Space was Covid-19 compliant as well. Would definitely come back for brunch. I really hope breakfast is just as good as dinner.More

I visited Wilson's Hardware for my daughter's bridal luncheon and for big parties they offer a somewhat bottomless option where you get to try many things on the brunch menu for a flat rate per person (which is pretty pricey). However, this option allows you...to try things you normally would not have. Many of the options we tried were fabulous and I have attached photos to show you these things. I absolutely loved the eggs benedict, the Monsieur Hardware, the deviled eggs, hashbrowns, mimosas, and the chicken and waffles. I did not have room for the french toast but it sure looked wonderful!! The atmosphere is very hip and fun and there is a rooftop venue as well. The service was exceptional and we were all treated like royalty! The price was high but for what we got, I would not dare complain at all especially since it was a special occasion! I would love to come back here so I could order my favorites but I have no idea how I would choose... This is a must visit food establishment if in the Arlington area!!More

I was here for a group business dinner. We were seated in a private area. The atmosphere was great. Industrial, but trendy. Service was great from start to finish. Drinks continued to be refilled without having to ask. The wine list is minimal and I...felt they did not have a full selection. The menu is average for this type of establishment. I ordered the stuffed chicken that came with mashed potatoes and a side of asparagus. I would classify the dish as "good," not necessarily great. As other posters have said, portions are small but I had eaten a late lunch so I felt the portion size was fine.More

Dinner with friends was a meh experience. Standard American food fare, nothing special. Portions were small. Limited beer selection. Looks cool inside but also very loud and hard to converse. Server said he had to close us out early cause he was feeling sick, then...saw him hanging at the bar in street clothes. Bold move but I respect his lack of shame. Had a quick peak at the rooftop bar and it looked nice. Crowd was singles looking to mingle so if that is your scene then hit it up.More

It has a real nice vibe, you can sit inside or out....we ended sitting in both places due to a rainstorm. The food was incredible, tasty and the serving size was perfect. We all ordered different dishes and we liked them all. I look forward...to going back to try some of their other dishes and desserts!More

I basically had to be rolled out of here after brunch. We did the bottomless brunch, which is a great idea in theory. In reality, it’s a lot of food (heavy food!) that you feel obligated to eat once it comes to the table. Honestly,...unless you’re with a group full of tremendous eaters, consider sticking with the individual plates. Butttttt if you are the type who likes to try a bit of everything and you can resist that feeling of obligation, then the bottomless option may be right up your alley. Especially if you’re into day dranks and want to take advantage of the drink specials. Service was average and always seemed a bit rushed and more driven towards pushing more drinks, or clearing the table for the next round of brunchers.More

I've been at Wilson Hardware for brunch and happy hour and I absolutely love it! The bottomless brunch option is just perfect. I had amazing mimosas and the chicken & waffle plate, fried chicken, maple syrup and amaretto cream. I absolutely loved it!

A good pub and restaurant in the Clarendon. I should congratulate the bar tender for making a great Rye Manhattan. I enjoyed the first so much, had to order another one. The interior is pretty modern and well lit. There is a huge open space...in the front with a long along the far wall. The is a loft life area on the floor above with seating. This place seems popular with different age groups. We came as a group and order appetizers along with drinks. We had Cheese Balls, Calamari, and Chicken Wings. The taste was apt and good enough. Calamari tasted fresh and lightly breaded. There is booth seating on the ground floor. Location is a couple of blocks from the Metro.More

Was hoping for more.... Food had good flavor, but the vegetables on my scallop dinner were cold. Others mentioned the french fries being flavorless. My husband’s salmon was tasty, but the bed of mashed potatoes were lacking flavor. The most attentive staff was our busboy...- our water glasses were full and empty dishes disappeared. The wait staff was clustered behind the hostess stand looking at their phones or chatting - service was spotty. Like I said, great potential....More
