Got there about 1 PM for a late lunch by myself. Was hurried to a counter stool (lots of booths were available) and given a menu. While still reading the menu the manager bruskly asked if I was ready to order. I said no. I...ended up ordering a turkey sandwich with french fries. The sandwich was not very good but the fries were OK. Bad service, fair food. Never again.More

You won't be disappointed with the breakfast choices at Jukebox Diner. I especially like their breakfast skillets. Portions are huge, so go with a hefty appetite. The wait staff are cordial and service is good.

This was a first time experience at this diner. There were lots of choices. Staff was helpful. Noise level was a bit high. Parking was good. Nice and clean. Food was good and freshly cooked. Hamburger was cooked as ordered. Potatoes were crusty and tasty....Reuben sandwich was good, salad was generous. Next table had fries and they looked good, will order on our next visit.More

While we have lived in Annandale since 1987, it is only recently that this local diner has become our GO TO diner for lunch. Service is fast, food cooked to order and never crowded (which might not be good for them but good for us).

I was there on Sunday, 7 April 2019. The waitress asked me what I wanted to drink and I said, "A fifty five gallon drum of grain alcohol". I was trying to create a laugh to help get rid of her stressful day. Ummmmmmmmmmmm, she...was not amused and another waitress showed up. One who was older and that was not going to suffer fools. Their menu is pretty extensive. I had the Chesapeake Bay crab cakes. Very good and competitively priced. The decor is that of a 1950's diner, closet thing to this I have seen was a similarly themed diner at Dollywood Amusement Park, Pigeon Forge, TN. The close thing to me in this area that the "JBD" reminds is the Tastee Diner, Woodmont and Norfolk Avenues, Bethesda, MD. The social interaction with the second waitress seemed to be off and on. I included my drivers license with my credit card when it came time to pay for two reasons: to establish that my credit card was not stolen and to get a discount for being over sixty years of age. Maybe, they don't have such discounts because she walked off without me being able to finish my explanation about why I included my drivers license with my credit card. I also ordered the banana split. I used to get one in downtown Washington, DC sometimes during lunch. However, after getting the Juke Box Diner's banana split, which is huge and competitively priced, I won't be getting that other place's banana split during lunch !More

Their coupon for discount is very misleading. I wrote a letter to the manager and . No response. So I will not go to this place again.

the place is pretty grubby, if you appreciate the ambiance of a truly "greasy spoon" if not you may be grossed out.

We have recently returned from a visit to USA and this diner was near where we were staying. The food is good, the service quick and friendly . The owner and staff were very nice to us, being English we stood out and were treated...very well! Over the course of several visits we tried burgers, tilapia fish, salads etc. everything was tasty. If we are back here again will definitely visit the Jukebox again!More
