Disappointing experience. Beef soup had few shavings of beef with thick ligaments of fat. The raw fish salad entree was mostly lettuce. To top things off the waitress rudely extorted us for a larger tip. Called over next few days to lodge complaint with manager...on waitress behavior, but repeatedly told no manager was there.More

As soon as you walk in, seems like you have been launched by the Time Machine into the last century, maybe 50 years back. Let’s say the restaurant has a quite retro vibe, its interior looks dated and uninspired. This is the place where you...go to enjoy Korean food, not the interior design. We went there for lunch on Saturday and it wasn’t very busy. We had spicy pork and bulgogi bbq. They served decent amount of side dishes/kimchi and lettuce. Everything was delicious, the only criticism is that meats were really sweet for some reason. Not sure if someone got sugar happy that day and dumped some extra into the meat marinade or it’s always like that. One helpful advise for the owner(s) - if the ingredients bill seems to be high, can definitely consider saving on sugar or other sweetener by reducing its amount in savory foods, especially marinades. Service was okay, ladies were polite, except you if you needed something, you would have to hunt them down. Overall, if you compare this restaurant to the similar ones in this area, they are good. If I could, I would give three and a half stars.More

We looked out of place as the only Caucasians in the restaurant. We were there to try Korean BBQ, and it did not disappoint. We ordered chicken, beef, and pork. The chicken was brought out. The beef and pork were cooked at the table. The...chicken was spicy. The pork was a bit less spicy. The beef had a hint of sweetness. The varied sides were all interesting. The ending sweet drink (desert?) was fun.More

Our food was delicious, Service was good, Overpriced. We had different bulgogi and bibimbop dishes. They all tasted good. Service was fine. Our server, dressed in traditional Korean dress, came to our table whenever needed, and served us well. My comment is that the food...seems a little more expensive than it should be.More

For a family dinner. The restaurant was crowded when we got there and the tables kept on turning quick. We waited 5 minutes for a table. Staff were rushed off their feet and never stopped running while we were there. We ordered one of the...bbq pots and there was plenty food for the 2 of us. Our daughter ordered the chicken teriyaki and it was really good. The chicken and vegetables tastes so fresh. Was worth it and would go back.More

No clue about customer service. Screaming each other, no respect for customer. It was like a show of what you are not suppose to do in a Restaurant. Once the food comes if you order BBQ waitress will croos your way with no manners at...all. They will make you feel that YOU are in the middle of their wayy!!! No worth the food, no worth to try, money wise not bad. Maybe that's why YOU GET WHAT YOU PAYMore

Food is ok compared to similar restaurants in area, service and atmosphere are meh. Had to sit by my husband verses across so cold air wouldn’t hit me and avoid close traffic of other customers. We ordered 2 meals and 2 beers. Husband insisted on...taking home leftovers because we paid almost $100 and then they left the box for us to fill. Which I’m ok with, but not at that price. BTW, we will see if he eats the leftovers because they weren’t that great the first time.More

This is our favorite Korean restaurant. The food is always good. The only problem is that it gets busy so the wait can be long and you feel that you can just linger and enjoy the food and company.

I went to this restaurant with a Korean friend who recommended it along with 5 other friends. We went there at around 8:30 PM on a Sunday night and was quite surprised that there were still a lot of people eating. The place is quite...spacious with a nice Japanese-Korean ambience. The server dressed in traditional Korean dress (hanbok) promptly took our order. I ordered the Gobdol Bibimbap - steamed rice topped with ground beef, vegetables and fried egg served in a hot stone bowl. There were around 4-6 side dishes that came with the order - kimchi, seasoned bean sprouts and more plus a complimentary bowl of miso soup. For the price which was quite reasonable, it's pretty good Korean food.More

I love going here. Even it’s crowded and it usually is, the place moves fast and very efficient. I always go back to bibimbap sol which has burnt rice at the bottom. Had kalbi tang the other day but I’ll stick to bibimbap. Didn’t care...for the beef. Had better at other places but this is my go to place for Korean food.More

This past weekend we were in VA for our grand doughter's HS graduation. Some friends of ours, who were stationed in Korea, told us a while back that Ye Chon was hands down the best and most authentic Korean food they've ever tasted in the...states. I've had Korean food at Honey Pig so I went to Ye Chon with the bar set at a certain level. Honey Pig in Ellicott City, MD is the real deal as far as I'm concerned. First of all I almost drove right pass the place because it's sort of tucked away. It wasn't very crowded when we got there so we were seated fairly promptly. Although we received our menus right away it took a little while for our waitress to take our order. Once we placed our order the flood gates opened up; out came Kimchi, soup, sea weed salad, and the works. We orderd barbecued brisket and pork belly; which is prepared rihgt there at the table. We also ordered a tuna roll for the table to munch on while they cooked our food. The tuna was very fresh. The brisket was cooked first and it was cooked to perfection. Needless to say the brisket did not last very long. Up next was the pork belly. The pork belly to me was sliced a little thinner than I've had it in the past. It actually was more like bacon than the slab of pork belly I expected. I wasn't overly impressed with it. I ended up spending $50 for three people; which is not so bad considering the amount of food. One big plus for Ye Chon is that it's open 24 hours so if you're doing a late night road trip and want something a little different, this is a good pit stop.More

Just the thought of a 24 hour Korean barbecue makes my mouth water. The fact that they have a full bar and excellent food makes it that much better.

You probably will not get Park Bo Gum or Lee Min Ho here at this restaurant, but you can sure get your Korean food cravings taken care of. The spicy squid curry is simply delish, the bulgogi will keep you coming back for more. The...banchans are adequate and tasty as well. The wait time can be a bit crazy on Friday and Saturday. We prefer Thursday evenings and Sunday evenings when there is practically no wait time. The wait staff are nice and polite. Had the Korean BBQ and it was okay sorts, not outta-of-this world type.More

Overpriced food for subpar KBBQ. That’s all you need to know coming from an Asian. Had the galbi- $32 !? Very disappointing. Kimchi jygae was salty too.
