Good home cooking. Full menu all day long. I had a breakfast plate and there was at least 8 slices of bacon!!! Kids had burgers that were big and loaded. Good meal for everyone and the waitress was very friendly

This classic family diner has all the menu standards. The service is fast and friendly. They have awesome breakfasts and we've finally tried lunch too... loved the stuffed tomato and the club sandwich did not disappoint.

Close to the George Washington Mount Vernon Estate )which doesn't have much of a decent food offering). If you want a genuinely honest no frill American roadhouse diner breakfast then this this is about as authentic as you'll get anywhere and doesn't pretend to be anything else. Plastic booth seats and Formica tables tell you as soon as you walk... More

This is your typical greasy spoon breakfast spot. Great breakfast food and conveniently on route one. Kid friendly

When I walked in I was taken back to a memory of a different Route 1 than today. The appearance was old and worn. I wasn't quite sure that it was a good idea to eat there. But they were having a special on Octoberfest German food that people wanted to try. Unlike the packed madhouse I'm told occurs with... More

I've been eating here for 16 years. Most buttery delicious eggs you will ever have. The place is run down, but a great dive for the locals. Huge portions. Come early on the weekends, or you won't get a seat. They also feature season menus such as Oktoberfest and St. Patrick's dinners. They also serve beer and wine.

Don't let the exterior of this establishment dissuade you. The food was perfect for breakfast with awesome home fries and an amazing omelette (spinach, bacon & feta rocked!). Service was gracious and attentive. If I had been staying in town I would try them for dinner. Their Oktoberfest offerings looked delicious. There was no room in me for dessert. Just... More

Yum! Fast, friendly service at this old school diner. They have a huge menu and serve breakfast all day. The skillet and omelettes are absolutely perfect comfort food.

The atmosphere is nothing fancy, and the tables and chairs are not super comfortable but the food is really great. Huge portions, share if you can! We love the omelet and the pancakes. People are always nice and if you come for lunch or dinner they have patty melts and great deserts

We wanted a big breakfast before a long day at Mt. Vernon. I stumbled on this place with my family and upon arrival the building looked sketchy, but we went in anyway. Sometimes you just need to take a chance. We were glad we did. The inside is older and surely not fancy, but it was clean. The real pleasure... More
