Food was decent & beverage listing was ample and unique. Visiting from the Seattle area, so it was nice to see so many Pacific NW beers available. Cilantro fries were nice.

Good enough food. A bit pricy, but plenty of choices. Mushroom pizza was really good - I ate it all! My friends had salads and a Monte Christi sandwich that he said was really good. Fun, quirky atmosphere and a good wine/beer list.

Great little pub with a range of specialty bottled beers and ciders. Zombie Killer was an interesting cider, not sure it was worth the $16 price tag though. Food was great and the service good. Busy, but not too loud to have a conversation at your table.

I came here with family and we enjoyed ordering a few appetizers and our meals were delicious. The service was good and they did not rush us.

When you have a restaurant named after a hobbit, it better be either great for kids or good food. This turned out to be a good pub/restaurant. They also have "gourmet" pizzas, which are decent. There was a bit of kitsch with many of the menu options with names referencing Lord of the Rings. Besides the pizza, they had a... More

It's definitely not a huge restaurant, but it's very interesting and the food was good. The chocolate waffle topped with berries and ice cream was awesome!

Amazing beer menu. Food looked amazing but I didn't try on this visit. NOTE: they will not serve what they consider high alcohol beers in normal serving size glasses. I had a "God is an American" Imperial IPA and they would only serve it in a 10 oz glass.

Visited on a quiet Sunday night. There were five of us for dinner therefore, we had a little bit of everything. The cedar plank salmon, cinnamon pork loin with fruit chutney and grilled portabello chicken were delicious. The gourmet pizza was large enough for 1 hearty meal or could be slit by two people. The Thai shredded beef salad was... More

Great food and good service. The calamari is excellent. We've been to some seafood restaurant but their calamari is the best we've had. It's tender, the coating is not too thick. And the dip is mysteriously exquisite. We also ordered the middle earth chili. The Cedar Plank Salmon is cooked perfectly and the ginger mango cream sauce is like what... More

I eat here whenever I stay in Alexandria. I am a Lord of the Rings fan so I couldn't resist. It's a relaxed atmosphere. It has a great list of craft beers.
