I arrived in Alexandria for business pretty late and I was tired and hungry. I'm not a huge fan of hamburgers but it was close to my hotel so I went in. I only wanted a burger, not fries or a soda because I drink water and try to stay away from fried foods. I ordered and sat down to... More

The french fries and burger are the best. The staff at the counter had a great sense of humor and smiled. The food was a basic burger and they were especially generous with the fries.

In some respects, Five Guys is a bit like McDonalds ... very good burgers that taste about the same from location to location. Not the finest burger around by any stretch, but still good.

Concept: Literally the first hamburger place - no frills, no ambience, the star was the food - to offer upscale quality burgers at affordable prices: A trailblazer with a phenomenal success. 18/20 Ambiance: No money spend in decor or even warmth, it fitted the inexpensive value added theme and purpose. 13/20 Food: Great meat, mediocre: sugar ladden bun that glues... We had an out of town visitor that heard about Five Guys and he wanted to try it. I tried to persuade him not to go, but we went anyway. After all, he was a visitor/tourist. We arrived just before it got busy and I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, he ordered the regular cheeseburger. My daughter got the "cheese veggie".... More

Though the building doesn't capture any decorating or ambiance awards, the burgers here are fine, fine, fine. I enjoy the bacon cheeseburger and the Cajun fries. Service was good. Good amount of seating, but again not a very attractive place to eat. That's why I take mine to go!

You can't go wrong if you want great fries and a smoking hot dog. The small fries is enough for two people. Loved the basic hot-dog. It took about five minutes... No pun intended! The food is salty but good:)

Part of a family run chain with a great formula. Super burgers made to order and REAL french fries from scratch. Some seating you will never be disappointed

It's always a treat to early their burgers. I supplement the meat dish with French Fries, and Peanuts in the shell.

The staff was excellent and very kind, the food was fantastic and in a convenient location! Also, if you've never been here before, a "regular" fry can easily feed 2-3 people! So good!
