This is a great place to take family and friends, particularly, if they want a great burger. One word of warning, the steps are a killer. If anyone in your family has any mobility issues, that can be a problem.

I lived in Arlington & then Old Town Alexandria from 1991-1996. KSB had opened just prior to my moving to the area, and my sister who lived a few blocks away from KSB was already a regular. As soon as I arrived, I was eating here at least twice a month. So many wonderful memories of family dinners, dinners with... More

We had the shrimp po'boys. The sandwiches were well executed and the rémoulade was exceptional. Overall, decent place to eat though the service was a bit slow.

We came for the first time when we were on vacation with our furry companion. The decor and reasonable prices we saw online made us try it out and we were so glad that we did! There was a table outside where we could sit with our dog. The waiter came out right away and then brought out a dish... More

Oh my brisket! That was the best brisket I ever tasted. Fork tender, juicy, delicious, just the thought of it makes my mouth water all over again. Brisket + andouille = barbecued happiness. Choose your 3 sides, don't matter which ones, just don't miss that brisket!!!

Loved this place – it was refreshing to go to a ‘real’ bar/restaurant after the Truman Show vibe of National Harbor. No frills, what you see is what you get, but the bar area was small and friendly, the restaurant is upstairs and our server was cheerful and accommodating. The food is excellent ( I had fried chicken, country greens,... More

Had lunch here while staying at the Crystal Gateway Marriott. Just an underground walk from the hotel and is located in the mall down there. It was middle of the afternoon and we were 2 of 4 people eating. It did have a good crowd for lunch. I had the low country salad and my wife the gumbo. Both were... More

We ate here on a Friday night without a reservation and didn't have to wait. The ribs were falling off the bone great and the other food we had was prepared well and quite tasty. The service was good - could have checked drinks, etc. more often, but we really did not lack anything. The decor is a bit odd,... More

We were attracted to this restaurant by its colorful facade. The inside has a lot of fun artwork to look at while you eat. It's very upbeat! The servers were helpful in making decisions. We had the onion tangles for an appetizer. They are served with roumelaide sauce and were delicious. My kids had shrimp Po Boys. Sandwiches are served... More
