Oh my brisket! That was the best brisket I ever tasted. Fork tender, juicy, delicious, just the thought of it makes my mouth water all over again. Brisket + andouille = barbecued happiness. Choose your 3 sides, don't matter which ones, just don't miss that brisket!!!

Loved this place – it was refreshing to go to a ‘real’ bar/restaurant after the Truman Show vibe of National Harbor. No frills, what you see is what you get, but the bar area was small and friendly, the restaurant is upstairs and our server was cheerful and accommodating. The food is excellent ( I had fried chicken, country greens,... More

Had lunch here while staying at the Crystal Gateway Marriott. Just an underground walk from the hotel and is located in the mall down there. It was middle of the afternoon and we were 2 of 4 people eating. It did have a good crowd for lunch. I had the low country salad and my wife the gumbo. Both were... More

We ate here on a Friday night without a reservation and didn't have to wait. The ribs were falling off the bone great and the other food we had was prepared well and quite tasty. The service was good - could have checked drinks, etc. more often, but we really did not lack anything. The decor is a bit odd,... More

We were attracted to this restaurant by its colorful facade. The inside has a lot of fun artwork to look at while you eat. It's very upbeat! The servers were helpful in making decisions. We had the onion tangles for an appetizer. They are served with roumelaide sauce and were delicious. My kids had shrimp Po Boys. Sandwiches are served... More

My family of 18 ate dinner here after my sister's college graduation. Although there was a mix-up in their group reservations, the staff still found a way to accommodate my family. Our server was very attentive and polite. The menu provides a wide variety of options and no one had any complaints about the food. The floor was pretty filthy,... More

This menu seemed to have something for everyone so we decided to stop in. A pleasant man sent us upstairs for a table but when we got there, we were told we couldn't sit there. Despite having many empty tables, we were told that they were all reserved. As a party of 5, they tried to shove us into a... More

I went to King Street Blues during a short “girls’ trip” weekend in the area. We went on a Friday night, and were a group of 8. I called ahead and they gave us a time 45 minutes from when I called, which was fine because we walked to the location from a hotel several blocks away. We did arrive... More

We visited on a whim on a Saturday night. We were surprised that the restaurant was almost empty at 6:00 pm. The decor is bright, fun and funky. We sat at a table for two on the second floor by a window, good for people watching down the street. Noticed a couple of ants on the window sill. We loved... More

The decor is jazzy and the menu consistently good with large portions. It's a fun treat to enjoy the room, the lively people and food that will stick to your ribs. The restaurant is located near the center of Old Town and easy to find. No doubt about it - you will enjoy this place
