Bistro-like charming decor, tables right on top of one another. Make reservations (by phone). The menu is a little old-fashioned, but we didn’t want trendy food. My husband was able to get clams Casino, which is hardly ever on menus. Food was well-prepared, service friendly...More

We managed to get a table for a party of six on a Saturday, with at least a week’s notice, and by calling to confirm our reservation a few days out. The restaurant is a tight fit in an old storefront on Washington St. in...More

This cozy French place is like a step back across the ocean to an era where pride in food is still the standard. They have seasonal specials as 5he market dictates. Today I had two jumbo soft shell crabs accompanied by grilled zucchini, puréed sweet...More

A good above scale restaurant. Some nice dishes. Very French. Crowded bistro atmosphere. You will need reservations because it has a large following. Very professional staff. Could have a better wine selection. Prices are a bit high, but generally worth it. We will be back.

This is a wonderful restaurant, with fabulous food and great wines. I have been a number of times and am always impressed. One of the best French restaurants in the DC area. I highly recommend.

Everyone seems to like this place. But we wonder why....We found the waiter rude and overbearing. Three entrees (chicken and rockfish) were okay, one entree very good (veal) carrot puree cold, zucchini cold. But the salad was very good, a very expensive restaurant for Old...More
