Named for a statue in Chef Wiedmaier father's hometown of Antwerp, Belgium, BRABO Restaurant is as legendary and longstanding as its namesake hero.

The award-winning talents of Chef Wiedmaier and designer Vicente Wolf harmonize for unforgettable dining at BRABO Restaurant. The comfortable dining room's stylish details like a custom hammered copper bar reflect our historic Old Town location, while private dining on the hotel's outdoor terraces offers extraordinary Old Town views. For private parties of up to ten, you can also reserve the restaurant's Chef's Table, where the chef and wine director visit the table and tailor food and wine pairings just for you. Braised Beef Rib-no bones to be found

Went here with a group of friends on friday night during Old Towne's Restaurant week. Started off with the Porcini Chestnut soup. not a bad flavor tasted good on a cold evening. Then on to the main course, braised beef chuck rib. so tender, no knife needed and it was a large portion. came with... read more

We took the opportunity to dine here during restaurant week as we were staying at the Lorien hotel. This is far and away our best experience of restaurant week dining and amazing value. The food and service here are exceptional, the staff are very knowledgeable and we couldn't have enjoyed our meal more. I'm not really a fan of mushrooms... More

Our server Jess not only rounded out our meal, but really elevated the experience! We had the pleasure of tasting the Restaurant Week - a STEAL for $35.16. We were smitten by their wine list, and elated to see their Coravin selection. But Jess brought it all together. We did order the octopus dish which was slightly chewy, but it... More

I've waited three weeks to write this review because I honestly needed to calm down a little bit. My friends and I (a total of 6 people) spent $1,500 on dinner for New Years Eve, and I can honestly say it was one of the worst dining experiences I have had in years (note: I don't even usually write yelp... If you like mussels, Brabo is a must. They serve traditional steamed mussels in a garlic white wine sauce, with bacon and broth, and in a red sauce with chorizo - and the occasional special. The mussels are served in a large iron skillet piping hot. Warm fresh bread accompanies all entrees including the mussels which makes for some delicious... More

Visited on New Year's Eve. The chef had planned a seven course tasting menu with wine pairings. Six of the courses had a choice of 2 options. In all, the restaurant was serving 13 items that evening. As things transpired, we decided that the preparation of these 13 items was just too ambitious for the kitchen. In all honesty, when... More

Food very good, service good - but portions small, prices high - trying to be downtown fine dining when it should be suburban fine dining - white table clothes are nice as a change from the "modern" look, but trying to match the ambiance and skills of the chef's in-town establishment - not successful - but still an enjoyabledinner if... Like Marcel's little brother. Being by Robert Wiedmeyer you know the food will be great. The room is large and a little bare meaning it can get noisy here especially if you are next to a large group. Probably worth avoiding if you have a companion who is hard of hearing! Also service can be a little slow. It could... More

We love BRABO; never disappointed. Know before you go -- $250 for two dinners, appetizers, drinks and desserts. Great pairings. The food taste and quality is great and the service is absolutely phenomenal. Waiter service sub-standard for a restaurant of this caliber. Not much of attentiveness to our table. One of our party suggested the demeaning attitude of the waiter began when we declined to order alcohol. In spite of that, the ambiance and the quality of the food were such that I may give this place a second chance.
