We enjoyed our meal for Aug 2016 Restaurant week. Limited to only two choices for each course so my husband and I split the difference to try everything. The prices for restaurant week were quite a bargain over ala carte pricing. Other than the limited choices, we had a lovely meal with well prepared food cooked to the right temp.... More

Convenient and good food, but very expensive considering the location and atmosphere. Full bar and creative food.

Really nice food. We where there for the restaurant week and got not disappointed. Really enjoyed it, the food was awesome and the dessert much more than what we expected. We will be back. Also very friendly sommelier who helped us to pick a good bottle of wine...

We took advantage of restaurant week. The menu looked exciting. We have dined here before for special occasions and for TGIF (Friday to top the long work) celebration. The menu and service, excellent as always. I had the cantaloupe soup for starters and soy lacquered pork over polenta as my entrée. This was the best pork tenderloin dish I have... More

We've been to Brabo a number of times and each time its been a great place to grab a high quality drink and small bite to eat (although pretty filling) while walking up and down King Street. Highly recommend this spot.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our brunch here, which is one of the best we’ve had at a Kimpton restaurant. (Yes, we’ve sampled fairly extensively.) I’d definitely get the fried rice pudding and the Devon waffles again. I’d never heard of fried rice pudding but it was so good! The seasonal raspberry compote was the best jam I’ve ever had. (Perhaps... More

The Lorien Hotel staff endorsed the recommendations of several local friends. I went for a drink and stayed for dinner. Damien, the Zen Master Triple Expert Mixologist, made the best dirty martini I've had. Lulu, the server, knew the menu cold and described many of the entrees in such luxurious detail that I could taste them. I settled on the... More

Robert Wiedmaier is a high profile, Washington DC area chef with several restaurants specializing in French and Belgian cuisine. I wasn’t familiar with his restaurants, but a friend who formerly lived in the DC area said we should try Brabo on a recent business trip. It was a great choice. This restaurant is located in the Lorien Hotel, about two... More
