Throughout this pandemic, Mumbai Darbar has been probably our favorite delivery/takeout option, and certainly the best Indian option. I haven’t been to the physical location, but by this point I’ve had almost everything on the menu. The salmon tikka is the best dish we have had...and a great value -- a very large portion and high-quality ingredients. We also enjoyed the vegetable Samosa with Chala -- good flavor and not a typical dish at Indian takeout places. We’ve done all the more common Indian dishes such as butter chicken and palak paneer, which are also good. I’ve never had a problem with delivery, and they are always fast. There are closer Indian restaurants to my house, but this one is our favorite.More

This place seems family owned and the food was fresh and delicious. Shrimp tandoori, butter chicken and the somosas and naan were delicious! Hidden gem for sure!

The decor isn't much to look at and ambiance is lacking but the food was great, with reasonably prompt service. Butter chicken, an okra dish, and garlic naan were all delicious.During the time we were there, my daughter and i observed at least a dozen...food delivery pick ups -- clearly this place is popular for take out / delivery. Check groupon for a cash back deal.More

The best Rogan Josh in the tristate. .. Also the best chai and vegetable pakora. Very courteous staff...I never feel rushed eating. This place is a gem. Authentic. Not for the faint hearted or for those with blunt taste buds or those who bask in...luxury of their own entitlement.More

This is my go to place for Indian food in Arlington and Alexandria VA. I've never eating in, only done take outs and deliveries. The taste is the closest to the ones I'd eaten in restaurants and cooked by close Indian friends in NYC. Highly...recommended it.More

I placed an order online and the restaurant called me to let me know my order was ready. Wasn’t expecting that. My order was handed to me when I walked in. The food was delicious. Would definitely return.

Great little restaurant in a small strip mall near Van Dorn metro. The lunch buffet on Sunday was a modest assortment of entrees but very adequate and represented sufficient tasting of a variety of dishes. The nan bread was awesome and freshly made for each...table. We filled up at a very reasonable price of less than $11 per person. The staff is very friendly at this neighborhood restaurant.More

I have been to quite a few Indian restaurants in America, Japan, Dubai, Greece, and turkey. This is my absolute favorite. The portions are awesome, the price is better but best of all is the taste of the food. The staff is very friendly and...give great suggestions. Any time I have family that comes in town, I always take them here. My son gets s fee quarter for their gum ball machine as well which speaks to the courtesy of the staff. I would recommend this place over Aditi in Kingstown because of the price and portion size alone. But the taste is superior as well. The atmosphere is cheap but it gives a more homie feel.More

The location and dining room are rather humble. The appeal is in the lunch buffet which is rather large and generous. The salad is as fresh as the hot entries...butter chicken..tandori chicken...even a goat curry...there are lots of choices to enjoy. And the price is...very low.More

If you like a nice variety of Indian food, this it pretty good. They offered vegetarian dishes as well as a goat and 2 chicken dishes on this Satuday. The place is kind of small and the person behind the counter was very nice....everything is...like "serve yourself" but I was okay with it. My kids had the mango lassi and felt it could have better flavor.More
