Best fried green tomatoes and breakfast around. Very casual, family run restaurant. Their pancakes are really good!

Go where the locals go and enjoy amazing southern hospitality. We had a most enjoyable breakfast and came away completely satisfied!

Good: friendly service and the bacon. Bad: Everything else. We ordered biscuits and gravy and the gravy was comply tasteless and the biscuits were below average. We could not even stomach the gravy. The eggs were chopped up little chewy slivers. Pancakes were as dry as cardboard. I have no idea how this place is reviewed so high. I would... More

A MUST STOP for breakfast while in Abingdon,Virginia! Lightly hand breaded chicken and waffles or sweet potato pancakes are on the menu with all the "regulars" for breakfast. The place where the locals eat. Very friendly staff serving "mountain sized" portions.

This is a nice place to eat. It is a local eatery. I had the baked chicken cordon blue sandwich. It was very good. This is a family style restaurant.

Called in for lunch today, chicken and dumplings with 2 sides were on special. It's delicious. It was very busy but everyone was taken care of. Efficient and friendly. I have had their breakfasts for lunch too. Omlettes, biscuits & gravey, french toast, homefries all very good. Actually never had a bad bite. Parking and seating is limited. There are... More

Ate breakfast which included eggs, tenderloin, and biscuit and gravy. Their gravy is the best in town , its not the flour gravy you get at Hardees or Shoney's! Waitress was great and coffee cup stayed full as she took great care of us. The only complaint and I've noticed this on couple of occasions they have their regular customers... More

I eat here whenever I am in Abingdon. The service is good and friendly and the food is great. The variety of vegetables and the breakfast food is worth taking note of.

My friend suggested this place. Said the last time she went, about a year ago, that it was fantastic for breakfast. I can honestly say it was the worst breakfast I have ever had. I ordered two eggs over medium, sausage, and biscuits and gravy. The egg yolks were hard all the way through, the sausages were overcooked and looked... More
