We stopped in for lunch. The atmosphere was nice and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. The crabcake sandwich and the smash burger were both good. They offer vegan and gluten free options. Fyi, If you have celiac, they have a small kitchen with no...designated fryers.More

Thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. The food was scrumptious and the service was superb. Trey went above and beyond. Highly recommend the Steak Nana and tomato bisque. We shall return.

Good spot for a casual evening, but I overheard them tell a family if several in your group they will not sit you until all have arrived. Also no reservations. As for the food, we both had garden salads which were good, the salad dressings...were delicious. I don't know if house made or purchased, but they were very good. My partner had a Cuban sandwich, which he described as mushy and nothing he would try again. I had the carnitas quesadilla. It is supposed to be pulled pork with pepper jack.cheese and pineapple salsa. The quesadilla was fine. I thought it was flavorful and moist. The salsa was onions, tiny pieces of pepper. The only flavor that came.out was onion, no pineapple. It had some type of liquid in it, but frankly if there were pineapple pieces I couldn't see or taste them. We will.give them another visit but would not repeat our choices. Maybe we visited on an off night. Our waiter was terrific, I wish I remembered his name.More

At first did not want to in as outside is very unappealing, but as soon as you all through the door you feel comfort and ambience. Food was great, service fantastic and atmosphere was charming. Much recommend

Can see why it is highly rated, the menu had something to offer everyone. Casual dining with excellent cocktails. The food was wonderful with nice size portions! Make it a stop while in town. Easy wall from the theater and The Martha

Cute atmosphere and affordable prices but the food wasn’t great. I got a pimento grilled cheese that had very little flavor.

Friendly, efficient service, wonderful food (we had the smash burger and the blackened chicken quesadilla), and cozy, quirky atmosphere. We were even treated to the backstories of some of the photos on the wall. Loved it!

Excellent choice for a meal! Had been here once before when visiting for the Barter Theater, and it was a good choice again. Trey was a terrific server! Wonderful dessert choices too. Worth a visit!

Excellent food and service! I had the Chili Rubbed Salmon (best salmon I’ve ever had) and my daughter had the crab cakes. We would highly recommend 🫶🏼

Visiting with our bestest friend in Abingdon and enjoying a pre-birthday dinner with her at this wonderful eatery. Trey was our server and, more importantly, our guide to great food. Two of us had the chili rub salmon and the third had the fish sandwich....All food was delicious and arrived quickly. One of the finest restaurants in the area that we will revisit often!!More

I eat at 128 Pecan pretty regularly with my family and it's our favorite place to eat in Abingdon. The owner and staff are super friendly. The food is always fantastic. I like Jack's Smash Burger--proibably my favorite item on the menu. I like the...fish tacos a lot, as well. They also make a mean Bloody Mary! I highly recommend this restaurant.More

We had just ridden the Virginia Creeper and wanted a nice place to relax for dinner. We selected this restaurant based on the reviews and agree that it is a wonderful place to eat. We both had the special and my wife had a glass...of wine. Our server was very friendly, outgoing, knowledgeable, efficient and lot so other nice words. Her recommendation for the special was spot on. The food was excellently prepared and the atmosphere of the restaurant was superb. A great way to finish a spectacular day with a relaxing dinner without rushing. I think this would qualify as a fine dining establishment and the prices are commensurate. However, the price of the special made it quite affordable for us and a delight for dining.More

We arrived in Abingdon early - and went here for lunch. Got there around 11:45 before the locals swarmed in. It's in a quaint old house - with plenty of rooms for a few tables each. Almost like a private dining room. The service is...friendly and very efficient. The menu is eclectic and somewhat upscale. My wife had the Carnitas Quesadlla and I had the lunch special - salmon croquette on a bun. It seemed like our server had just taken our order and our food came out. Both were very good. Oddly - my salmon tasted almost like the great Salmon cakes that I make - except it was deep fried. My wife's carnitas were nicely seasoned and the tortilla very fresh. I imagine dinner would be a treat also. .More

Wonderful little gem off the Virginia Creeper Trail. We ate here 2 times over a long weekend. Great food & service. If you are looking for a non-meat option, the black bean burger is amazing.
