Well, not really fancy - but certainly not a bbq dive! Nice selection of bbq meats and sides. The pork and brisket were big hits (pork is dipped in an over the top sauce). The cornbread was very tasty! Lunch plates are plentiful. The service was good and our server was friendly and helpful.

Came here for the BBQ, but was pleasantly surprised by the steak (the new york strip was sooo tender and juicy!!). The short rib was tasty too and serving was fairly big. Price wise, definitely on a pricier side, but it was worth it! Restaurant was fairly packed on a weekday night. There was a nice patio dining area outside... More

We enjoyed Lamberts so very much! When in Rome as they say, so when in Texas one should eat BBQ and or Mexican food. We were a party of eight people and our server was excellent. He made suggestions and was very attentive yet not intrusive. I had the BBQ Cuban Sandwich with a side of Mac & Cheese (scrumptious).... More

Couldn't recommend highly enough, fantastic food, service and music. A visit to Austin isn't complete with a meal at Lamberts.

Live music and a beautiful building. Excellent craft cocktails and great deals at the bar. Bar menu is much cheaper and whole bar menu is half price at happy hour.

While in Austin last week we saved Lamberts for our last dinner just before heading to the airport. We hung out at the bar with Chris the friendly bartender before we sat down for dinner. The old building (the historic Schneider Bros building) is beautiful with old wood floors, brick walls and old painted signs on the walls. The smoky... More

Went here while on a bisiness trip and was thoroughly pleased! Three of us ordered a bunch to share and it was great. Service was spot on and they were super knowledgeable about the menue which was much appreciated! I will come back next time I am in Austin.

My husband and I happened upon Lambert's after the BBQ spot we tried to go to closed early. We didn't get the greatest seat with no reservation (kind of a weird side bar by the entrance), but nonetheless service was great, food and drinks were awesome, and you get more of a 'nice restaurant' feel. I totally recommend ordering from... More

This is the second time eating here. The first time was many years ago and I remember having the smoked beef ribs, which were to die for and this recent visit was identical to the first. Simply excellent. I had smoked wild boar ribs(very small wild hog ribs to be exact) for an appetizer and my wife had crispy fried... More
