If you want a really good burger that is like the old Holiday House from Austin, visit P. Terry's. The burgers are fresh and the fresh squeezed Lemonade really hits the spot! I prefer the chicken breast sandwich as I dont eat hamburger meat :O...More

To quote Jim Carrey in Liar Liar - "I've had better...". It was an average fast food burger...much better than the usual national chains, though.

ok so the meat patty is thicker and there are no sesame seeds on the bun, but other than that it tastes pretty much like a burger from McD's to me. I like McD's burgers too, so I'm not complaining about that. I was just...More

I will choose a P. Terry's burger over In and Out any day of the week. I love their Arnold Palmer too. Not sure which it is, their tea or lemonade, but they just taste better than others I've had.

they have their own recipe that is kick a$$ and a must. can get wheat bun, great lemonade and you MUST try the chocolate chip cookie made with real butter and a little bit of oat meal for a little more texture. Yummy!

Nothing special. Decent tasting undersized burgers. 3 will do for 2 people. Room to sit outside is nice in good weather (no covering)

I work just down the street from a P Terry's (on Ben White). I've been to several of their other locations as well. Yummy Blue Bell shakes, fries that are simply great and the burger is tasty as well. They have it arranged so that...More

Yes, the fries are good, the shakes are a guilty pleasure and and the burger is good. But there's nothing about P. Terry's that I can't find at dozens of other places and yet it is a bit overpriced.

I will never understand the immense popularity of this chain. Huuuge lines, bland fast food, and twice the cost of food of similar quality. Try Your Mom's Burgers instead.

Just got one of these drive throughs in my neighborhood. Veggie burger, chicken (ground) burgers and the ones for meatasaurases. Very fresh. Great fries (I know, I'm bad) and perfect lemonade. They even have a jar of goodies for your 4-legged friends.

Kathy and Patrick Terry opened the first P. Terry's on July 5th, 2006 at the corner of South Lamar and Barton Springs. Patrick was following his childhood dream to open a classic burger stand, like the legendary Mack Eplin's he grew up with in Abiliene, Texas. But when Kathy read the book "Fast Food Nation", their plan to provide quality food and service went to a higher level.

P. Terry's offers the freshest quality ingredients you can find served out of a drive-thru window. We're where fresh, all-natural, "never-ever" beef and chicken became staple items. We serve fresh-cut fries made from all-natural potatoes, free of trans fats and hydrogenated oils. Add to that our fresh-baked cookies, banana bread, and house veggie burger; our fresh-squeezed orange juice and lemonade; and our authentic milkshakes - we care about what's out there to eat, and we make our food with that in mind.

But we didn't forget Patrick's original image - the classic burger joint of the '50s and '60s, when small-town hospitality was the standard. That's why we offer a simple menu with an open kitchen, with premium quality ingredients served at affordable prices. It's why we treat every customer with utmost respect; take every chance to give back to our community; and ensure our employees' well-being - through opportunities to grow with our business, access to unique benefits, and pay above industry standards.
