The tacos are so delicious, and the names of the tacos are fun too. But even better is the queso. I am salivating just thinking about how good it is! I always recommend people to try Torchy's, and have gotten several just as hooked as I am. Fresh ingredients and a variety of heats in salsas. Options for breakfast, lunch... More

I do like this place for a quick meal so its great for lunch if you can survive the parking at the Steck location. But I have eaten at the various locations in the city and have always been pleased with the food albeit dissapointed in the cost for the size of the Taco versus the ingredients used. The Guacamole... We had an lunch meeting and decided to pickup Torchy Taco. It was great mexican food at a very responsible price. I would recommend this to be a quick fix for your taco fix.

These tacos are amazing and, even better, really reasonable. They have so many to choose from, and every one I have tried has been fresh and tasty. Make sure you visit Torchy's Tacos next time you visit Austin TX.

Great for the evening when the weather isn't so hot. Call ahead and avoid the line :) Parking can be a little iffy so be prepared!

Torchy's Tacos is a great iconic Austin place for tacos. It like there is always a line but the service is very quick. All food is made to order with fresh ingredients. The pricing is fair and affordable. You can order ahead and pick up without having to wait. Some favorites of ours are The Democrat

They have a wide variety of tacos all with their own special spin. I like the Shrimp taco & the Trailer Park. Obama stopped at Torchy's on his last visit to Austin.

A friend from Florida visits twice a year. The first place she wants to go eat is Torchy's Tacos. We've been to several of them, Wm Cannon, San Marcos, the Trailer, and First Street. We have never been disappointed. The tacos are some of the best in town and are always consistently great. Also, you need to try their guacamole.... More
