This was my first time to such a place as this. We were seated in assigned seats (you can buy your movie tickets in advance) and provided menus for ordering dinner before and during the movie. Waiters came and went discreetly throughout the show in case you wanted dessert, or in my case, a milkshake delivered to the seat. What... More

We were there for a specific film retrospective and it was great seeing a 35mm print of a favorite film and then greta commentary. They serve terrific food while you're watching the films too and waiters move unobtrusively throughout the theatre serving. What faun experience and I'd definitely return. A special treat was seeing the projector room of this old... More

Enough said! But I have to type more characters. So get the beer, get the appetizers, and leave a tip for staff. They are working hard.

Staff is great. Typical Austin hipster hangout. My coworker had a fried chicken sandwich that he said was excellent. I chose poorly and ordered the Doomsday pizza. Worst pizza I've ever had.

Can't say enough about the staff at Alamo at The Ritz. The Drafthouse's film choices are always on point and the staff delivers in seeing to that the floor stays quiet for viewing. A must stop for any story enjoyer. I will admit that people eating during a film is less than ideal for my tastes. But it is an... More

Grabbed a movie here to burn some time & ended up having an absolutely delightful time. Small cozy theatre, with waited service & a menu completely listing as much diversity as one could imagine in a cinema. Great location, with fun, friendly staff. Well worth the experience.

What a fun venue! Got dragged to this, but had a lot of fun watching a campy "surprise" movie while enjoying a beer.

The Master Pancake guys were hilarious! You can tell they've rehearsed a lot of the jokes but it was still great. Sure the theater is old but that's the point, it was exceptionally clean. Their beer prices are on par with anything else on 6th street, not the standard movie theater ripoff pricing at other chains. The burger was innovative... More

It was our first time going to the Alamo Drafthouse Movie Theater. We went to see a classic...Thin Red Line....best part was that the Storyboard Artist for the movie is a Austin Local and spoke before and after the movie. Great insight into the movie. The food was good for the price and reasonable for inside a movie theater...its not... More

The best cinema experience I've had. Unique, fun, relaxed and surprisingly great. The relaxed and easy going set up of in house dining while watching the movies on the big screen is a must for everyone. The food is amazing as is the drink selection. Staff are cool and quick to serve without hardly an interruption to your movie night.... More
