I got the biscuits with gravy, over easy eggs, and sausage. The gravy was a little heavy and starchy but the biscuits themselves were good. The eggs were cooked perfectly but the sausage was under cooked and I didn't finish it. I got a taco instead with bacon, egg, and cheese. The price suprised me, 4 dollars, but it was... More

Basic restaurant with contemporary staff, efficient and friendly. Simple but good Mexican breakfast, in short DO try it and see for yourself

This is a favorite of mine and I visit about once a week. Although I'm not a vegetarian, my personal favorite is the Vegan breakfast with the vegan queso and add avacado. Seriously delicious. Ask for Mott..friendliest and most delightful server on the planet.

The length of the wait alone tells you how well regarded this restaurant is regarded. Sunday morning and we waited 30 minutes although if you use the No Wait app you can reduce this to manageable limits. Basic breakfast entrees served hot and fast. Good coffee. Despite the hectic pace, the wait staff were patient explaining the too numerous to... More

We ate at the University diner location where they had unique décor and art, jazz music over the sound system (in 4 days that was our first jazz we heard anywhere!). Our waitress was very nice and we got quick service (it was 6am). B had eggs, pancakes and bacon. He said it was all good but not great. I... More

7 of us for lunch including 3 teens. Waiter was very good. We're on a short time frame. Orders put in and everything came our right. Queso is a hallmark so try one order for the table. I had the Frito Pie which could have had more chili and less Fritos but was tasty. Our second visit and we'll go... More

My wife and I visited Kerbey Lane for brunch based on the recommendation of my daughter. I think I could go back daily. I had migas, they would have been incredible on their own, but when you add the queso, they are INCREDIBLE! The pumpkin bread french toast was also amazing. My wife had the Texas Benedict, steak and egg... More

We went on a Tuesday and were surprised that KIDS EAT FREE on Tuesdays. Sat on the enclosed patio and found the food to be excellent. Blueberry pancakes were great. Recommended!

Kerbey Lane Cafe is a true Austin place to dine. They have a variety of things to order on the menu. I chose the Citrus Steak Salad with honey chipotle roasted beets, blue cheese crumbles, roasted sunflower seeds, topped with an orange vinaigrette. The salad was very flavorful. The Akaushi steak should have been sliced much thinner. The steak was... More
