This morning my wife and I visited this Kerbey Lane location for breakfast. I ordered the Paris Texas platter and substituted the included french toast for the pancake special which was cinnamon peach. My wife ordered the eggs francisco. The migas platter portion of the Paris Texas breakfast was AWESOME, however, I was disappointed in my pancakes because they had... More

We ate a wonderful breakfast here and I didn't have to eat again that day! The coffee is good and strong and the cinnamon roll pancakes are soooo good! I was so full but couldn't stop eating. Our waiter was very nice and friendly. Will be back

Met family for lunch at this wonderful Austin institution. JP took great care of us. Omelets were terrific, enchilada were delicious. And the seasonal fried green tomatoes Benedict was outstanding! Also, don't miss the hibiscus iced tea - just wonderful!

The food is tasty and well-prepared with an eye toward organics and local sourcing. Somewhat interestingly imaginative but not outlandish. Unfortunately the place is unreliable for the gluten-sensitive.

A decent seasonal menu always adds a variety here, among the decent standard menu. A bright, noisy, efficient place, lacking in it's former funkiness- but always a safe bet for budget conscious diners.

This is an excellent restaurant for breakfast. It's busy but the servers and kitchen keep up and the food is impeccable. Your choices for traditional or gluten free are seemingly limitless. The fresh fruit is great. Try the ham and cheese omelette if that is your thing--it's my litmus test for a new breakfast place. The potatoes are good here,... More

I love this place, all locations. Each location has outside dining available. The food is fantastic. They are famous for their pancakes. They are as big as an entire plate, so don't get a full stack. Lot's of flavors. My favorite is gingerbread. The egg dish I like is the Portobello mushroom omelet with feta cheese and pesto on top.... More

When in Austin this is one of our standard stops. Always get a bowl of Kerbey queso. I recommend to also order off their seasonal menu. Always excellent choices. Recently had their summer chicken with roasted asparagus and loaded mashed potatoes and well nothing was left on my plate. Yum!

These restaurants are popular in Austin because they use locally grown produce and are family owned. They have quite an array of pancake flavors and I had the blueberry. My husband ate french toast, but we both raved over the homemade sausage. The service was kinda slow but we weren't in a rush.

Going to Kerbey Lane is like going to Grandma's for dinner, if Grandma gave you a bill at the end. The food and setting are safe, comfortable, and familiar. You won't find anything for foodies, but all-day breakfast makes up for it. Enjoy the people-watching -- including the wait staff -- which gets better as the night gets deeper. People... More
