Cafe Java is always a great place to eat. My crew and I go there for lunch and the staff is always friendly and the food very good. I love the salads and the burgers are pretty good too.

We had a 30 minute but, we were there at brunch time. The service was good and the food better. Loved the decor. The line to check and place to go orders are the same so the line was a little long but, we enjoyed the ourselves and would return again.

Everything on your plate will be hand-crafted, your mother made this (but no she can't really cook this good, trust me) epic goodness. The very best pancakes in the city. The very best. I eat them plain they are so good. Like I'm shoveling them in to save lives. The hash browns will crunch in your mouth. The veggie tacos-... More

Great food and great people make this place a must see. The food was delicious, but the folks working there reminded me of the Austin I used to know when I lived in this city in the late 80s and early 90s. Kind, willing to chat, and very relaxed. This is a winning combination - and I'll seek out this... More

Ok so you have a choice in Austin of great breakfasts and great coffee.. This place nails both down and if you live in N Austin there is no need to go anywhere else.. Can only vouch for the bf tacos(why would i try anything else?) and their coffee very rarely misses the mark and i never go past their... More

They serve the best breakfast tacos! And you can add pretty much anything for a few cents extra. Long lines for weekend brunches, so order and pick up.
