The plantains was the best thing about the veggie dish. It said to have cilantro among other veggies, but it seems to be mostly onions. Maybe they ran out of other veggies that night, but didn't enjoy it as much as other reviewers have boasted.

Food was very good. Don't let the location fool you. I recommend this food truck. The number 4 and 7 are their popular meals.

I have been to Peru and this food trailer is amazing. I had the Peruvian ceviche and it was hands down some of the best ceviche ever. They use fresh Mahi Mahi and you can get it spicy or not. Traditional style ceviche with corn nuts and sweet potatoes, it's amazing and there's a healthy portion of fish for $10.... More

...food cart tucked between 6th and 7th on Trinity. Enjoyed a lovely mahi mahi ceviche - big portion, fresh, lovely flavours. The Llomo Saltado was a smaller portion, but very tasty. Worth a try for Austin visitors - and open til 1am!

This food truck is in a very hidden location. We only found it through Yelp. We got there at around 7p and most of the food was already gone which I guess is a good thing. I had the pollo saltado sandwich, the lomo saltado and the ceviche. All very tasty and good-sized portions. The ceviche needed a little more... More

My tum tum rejoiced at the delicious food! First time but not last. The lomo Saltado was very good and the price was reasonable!

I bought my winter hat in Argentina and it has llamas on it, so it was clearly fated that I would end up eating dinner at Llama food trailer this past weekend when I was doing a (solo) bar crawl on 6th street. The dude running the place was wicked nice, took the time to explain what everything was and... More

Austin is a city of food trucks and Llama's Peruvian Creole, on the corner of Trinity and 7th Street, is a great example. Having been recently to Peru I can vouch their food is pretty authentic Peruvian and good! The Lomo Saltado was delicious with succulent meat and the garlic rice just right. The Ceviche was heavenly and some time... More

I ordered the #8 Aji de Gallina - it looked like vomit and came with one olive. It wasn't absolutely terrible, but it was bland. I had to ask for hot sauce in order to add some flavor. The rice was supposed to be garlic rice, but it tasted like overcooked plain white rice. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing,... More
