Reliable Margaritas! Fantastic delicious Carnitas (order it even if it isn't on the menu!). The Tacos al Carbon are a great fallback as well. I hear they have a fun brunch but have not tried it myself. Good, friendly service and authentic Tex Mex.

....and it was good. The first choice was Maudie's but they were closed. We had mushroom and spinach enchiladas and were very tasty. The tall girl liked her margarita, and the beers were cold. Service was prompt. Yep, it was good but not outstanding, and not a lot of reason to return. Too much competition for tex mex in Austin... More

I got the chile rellano and really didn't enjoy it at all. The pepper and breading were good enough, and the filling was ample, but blandly seasoned. And it was covered with yellow cheese, melted under the broiler. In fact, that was the biggest problem with this plate--the plate itself was scalding hot and the cheese on top was hot... More

Found La Feria while in town visiting family. Food was good and the service was great. Chicken burrito was tasty and the margaritas were the best we've had in a while.

This was a late evening meal and the food was hot and exactly what you would expect from a Tex Mex restaurant. Delicious, but pretty much the same you would get at any other such restaurant....except the grilled mushroom/bell pepper mix. WOW!! Delicious - that with the corn tortillas would have made a fantastic meal, but it came with the... More

We stopped in at La Feria while in Austin. The Mexican cuisine was true to that TexMex flare one expects in Texas! The portions were also truly Texas-sized. While the food was tasty, there was nothing really stand-outish about it. We enjoyed our meal. The place was quiet and the service...well, could have been better. (I ran out of water... More

On our last night in Austin we drove down Lamar looking for non-chain home-cooking mexican food. We found it at La Feria. We let Clare pick the top shelf margarita (delicious) and asked her to suggest her favorites. We were surprised that MOLE ENCHILADAS (chocolate/cocoa based sauce) was her favorite. After eating Mexican food for 35 years - here was... More

My family decided to try this place on a whim and it was hands-down the worst Tex-Mex i've ever had. The potatoes were under cooked and hard, the tortillas didn't even deserve to be called tortillas, and the bacon was so salty, i could've scooped up a cup of ocean water and have drunk less salt. The carne guisada tasted... More

The Feria on Lamar is a easy place to get seated and a good place to eat Mexican food. The have great margaritas when you buy top shelf. One margarita will make you very happy, they are huge. The food always comes fresh and piping hot. The salsa and chips are fresh. We have eaten there many times over the years... More

Guacamole is excellent. Great food and drink prices. The service is consistently good. The Cedar Park location has a patio as well.
