We've been to this place more than once, but we don't go there for the food or service. We mostly go for the view from the outdoor terraced balconies where you can see forever across Travis Lake. Now that the lake is back up to a normal level, it's worth the trip, even if you just have drinks. The food... More

When we first arrived at the restaurant for dinner, it seemed ordinary enough until we turned the corner. There is an eclectic assortment of metal statues, a "beer trailer", lights, music and so much to take in. It's a Spanish-style, multi story restaurant that appears like it was once a house. The entry is a patio/garden with a person waiting... More

We had dinner on the balcony overlooking Lake Travis. A beautiful sunset. The appetizer was so big, it was almost enough to be a meal for three of us. We specifically went on a Monday night because they have a live big band. Great music and dancing to the big band standards. The sound was mixed well. Our entrees were... More

Having been to this restaurant many times over the last few years, I was never completely aware of all that makes up the Oasis experience. No other location that I have seen anywhere in the world can compare to the many surprises awaiting the visitors to the Oasis. The view of the lake is spectacular; the experience of the sunset... The view alone is worth a trip to The Oasis! There is plenty of patio seating with a view of Lake Travis. The food is Tex-Mex and quite good. I tried the salad and loved the sunset chiffon that came with it! It's a special homemade recipe! :)

View of the lake and surrounding area is beautiful, especially around sunset! Horrible service. We had to repeat things to our waiter and make duplicate requests for drinks. At one point, we got up to locate our own pitcher of water to do our own refills. Food was okay - our party of 6 was 50% on food opinions. Three... More

If you love having food facing the waterfront, this is a good option. The drive to Oasis is amazing as you pass through roads with high mountains on one side. The restaurant serves pub food and beer. The experience is a great one, food is decent. Visited sometime ago, seems like it has not changed much.

When we were called for our table at 8:16 pm we were taken to a table that could in waiter to take drink order. We ordered our food and did not receive food until after 10 pm. The food was cold and was not that good. When we stated we wanted to see a manager we were told he was... More

We have lived here for over 2 years and we take all types of family and friends to the Oasis if they have never been. Breathtaking view and beautiful sunsets. The drinks, food, and waiters are one of a kind. We are headed there now with some newbies.
