Don't go for the food. I would advise a beer the other drinks are weak and expensive. They have good bands and a dance flor.

This is definitely a tourist trap, but worth at least one visit. The food was good enough that we'd go back. Best to go on off hours. The view of the lake is fantastic.

Dining here is all sitting high on the bluff and taking in the gorgeous lake view. For that reason, best visited when the weather is conducive to outdoor dining. The views are fabulous, and the food has gotten better over the years. Pretty typical Tex Mex, but a bit better than average. Service is generally good, and the Margaritas flow... More

Oasis has a great view. It is always packed and an overall fun environment. View is one of the best in Texas. Great place to eat with family, after a day on the lake. Just gotta stick out the wait, they're popular and it shows.

The view at The Oasis will make you think you were not in Texas. This disputes all perceptions of Texas being flat. I would put this view up against any west coast view and sunset. The food was pretty good and the wait staff was helpful.

Love the Oasis, great beer, multiple venues for music, eating, drinking What a fine place to take a date or a partner and enjoy the lake breezes.

Everybody in Austin knows you only go here for drinks and to enjoy the Lake Travis views and the beautiful sunsets over the water. The last time I was here I wondered if it was even worth the visit just for the views. The entire place is always like a ghost town and there are not even enough good bars... More

O my what a beautiful view of Lake Travis. O my what large and versatile dining areas that includes shopping. O my what large crowds. O my the service was subpar (but given the crowds it was anticipated). O my the food was... "yikes" O my the valet cost what?! Point is go for the O view and have an... More

We go to the Oasis for the view and beverages about twice a year. it is a great place to visit and enjoy a sunset, but I would not go just for the food. It has become just an average burger/appetizer place to eat.

Thank Charles W
