Solid diner food. We arrived on a Sunday around 11am and there was no wait. Our party's orders ranged from the fried chicken special to migas to traditional bacon and egg breakfast to just pancakes. No one was disappointed. The wait staff was attentive and cordial. The older decor and low lighting just adds to the experience. Reasonably priced.

We went back today because we liked it the first time we ate there. We walked in, sign said seat yourself. There were a ton of open tables. We found one and sat down. We had our two toddlers with us. No one came... After 10 minutes no one came, no one looked at us... So we left... And even... More

I meet some friends for lunch at the Frisco once a week. Everyone seems to order something different from a breakfast type meal to something you would order for dinner. I generally get the Hamburger with french fries and it is always very tasty and served hot and very quickly. The prices for the meals is very reasonable. The wait... More

I love the typical 70's wood-heavy diner decor. The menu is typical diner food, and the quality is fine. I wouldn't really going out of my way for it, except for the excellent pecan pie -- order it warm, a la mode.

The food here is general diner food -- average stuff. The pie is outstanding!! The atmosphere is really cool and they have a full bar, which is also really cool. It's a great place to hang and chat with friends over dessert or drinks -- or have a good, old-fashioned meal.

The Night Hawk restaurant has been a long time favorite for many years and formerly had several restaurants in Austin. This is the last one remaining. Although the quality of food was not that good on my last visit there in 2014, it was much improved on this visit in January of 2016. I ordered the Texan well done, it... More

I can't believe I had never been to Frisco's until this month, and I even went to college in Austin! We were taken there recently by a long-time Austin resident and it's a meal to remember. We had the Frisco burger, and it was excellent. But the onion rings were to die for! There were actual onions inside and the... More

good food at reasonable prices the best thing they have are there pancakes and there fruit bowl. Was it the best breakfast I ever had? no but saying that it was good food and I would go back. The only thing negative I have to say is they could work on there friendliness.

We had a delicious Sunday evening meal here. We were warmly welcomed by the gentlemen at the door and that set the tone for a delightful outing. The queso was excellent and my meatloaf entree was a comfortable reminder of childhood comfort food. I had fried okra as my side and it was flavorful with a good crust and not... More

The special of the day Chicken and Dumplings was thick and yummy. We were given a large portion. There was a large variety of sides to choose from. The macaroni and cheese was good different than your average mac and cheese. It had a mixture of cheese flavors, and was not creamy as expected. Breakfast is served all day long.... More
