My husband enjoyed a night out to celebrate Valentines Day at Cypress Grill! This is absolutely our favorite go-to Cajun restaurant in Austin. We had a $10 certificate for my husbands February birthday and a gift card from Christmas so we enjoyed margaritas (happy hour $4 special) and a sampler appetizer plate with crab cake, Cajun egg rolls and boudin... On a busy night, be prepared to wait unless you have a reservation. Very popular Cajun restaurant. But one seated, service was attentive, and food was good and satisfying. I look forward to going here again.

My husband and I dropped in about noon on Saturday to have brunch. We always enjoy eating here and we weren't disappointed with our choices. I really loved my shrimp poor boy sandwich and my husbands choice of jambalaya was delicious! The food was spot on, but I was wanting a refill on my water and the dirty dishes cleared.... More

Hey Darlene and thanks for the review. So glad the food is spot on. Brunch is a very busy time for us, but that's no excuse for us not clearing your table - something for us to talk about internally and examine more closely. thanks! John Haug Cypress Grill More

A great menu with nice variety. We have always been pleased with the food and the consistency. Today we had the Christmas Eve brunch and all 4 in our party were very pleased. Our server was very attentive and helpful.

We never get tired of the great food and super-friendly service at Cypress Grill. Have Kay make you a Cosmo, made with organic Pomegranate so it's orange instead of red, but delicious! I love the shrimp en brochette, crawfish etouffe, and the chocolate pecan pie is unbelievable. If you're there during crawfish season you must have the crawfish enchiladas, but... More

We were visiting and celebrated my daughter-in-laws birthday - brunch, All four of us had different but wonderful dishes. I ordered the Eggs Napoleon which is basically eggs Benedict with crawfish etouffee on top, but they knocked it out of the park. And Blueberry pancake as a side - really! Pancakes, sausage, omelettes - all very tasty and well prepared.... More

Love eating here. easy to pop in and out. Its a small restaurant to gets full pretty quick, always best to go in with reservations. I have dined here for few times now to say food is consistent and good. They have fun holiday envelops they hand out to kids, we got lucky and got $20 coupon, something we were... More

My wife and I usually go here for Sunday brunch. My usual is their Bayou Breakfast...in my opinion one of the best deals in town. Two eggs and 3 generous sides of which I generally choose sausage, a pancake, and red beans and rice. Now that is a meal for about $8. Bacon, Cajun tasso ham, fried okra, and fruit... More

This is my favorite Cajun restaurant in South Austin. It's just a nice friendly neighborhood place that consistently has excellent Cajun food! My daughter and I shared a shrimp poor boy with a side of fried okra. I had never gotten that before, but it was very good! I usually get half of a muffuletta with a cup of gumbo... More

When asked my favorite in Austin, there is only one response-CYPRESS GRILL. The shrimp is great any way you order. A great Cajun foolery. A must try.
