Had lunch with my son there. The receptionist/waiter was clearly not happy to be there. Felt like we were bothering him throughout our visit there, from welcoming us (or lack of) to taking orders to bringing food. I had a small pizza that was pretty good. My son had pasta that was literally swimming in oil. Not terrible but still... More

Craig Os is a small chain of italian restaurants in Austin, TX. They're not fancy, and the prices are very reasonable. I ate at this one a lot in 2009 when I was staying in that area for work. So I went there again this weekend, and it was just as I remembered it. Good pizza, good pasta dishes. Very... More

Was hoping for more. Tried the supreme and meat lovers pizzas. Supreme tasted good but hand tossed crust was kinda thin. The meat lovers tasted mainly like hamburger and had same issues with crust. We did have the chipotle wrap. It was good. My daughter enjoyed her Sicilian chicken sandwich. Probably go next door to Sam's for pizza next time.

Basic interior but over the top with friendly, knowledgeable courteous staff. Food is mouth-watering Italian specials, pizzas, desserts, and rather authentic, tasty treats for all!

I have now eaten at two Craig O's Pizza & Pastaria...BOTH were amazing! I am gluten intolerant and chose a pizza place recommended to me by my Optometrist's office in South Austin last Fall 2014. Then, I realized there was another location in another location in Northwest Austin in April 2015. They were both wonderful--food-wise, cost, and customer service. Their... More

Similar to another review, the cashier taking the order was not friendly and never said thank you. I'm sorry I left a tip. The pizza had a good amount of toppings but was soaked through the bottom, making it soggy & limp.

This is one of mine and my wife's favorite places to eat. Discovered it years ago when it was not so popular and watched as the owner built into a great little place...and other places as well. Pizza is always fresh, hot, and consistent. Salads are great with homemade dressings and the large sizes are HUGE!. Get the antipasto salad... More

We visited Craig O's for a quick dinner. The person taking our order was a bit terse, hardly welcoming, which wasn't a great start, but the server was nice and friendly and the pizza was decent. I would not call this NY style as others have. It is fairly middle of the road pizza (but in our family, any pizza... More

We have been to Craig O's on 290W at Mopac a few times. Each time the pizza was delicious, exactly what we ordered. The half salad makes the right complement to the pizza if you want some roughage. We have not tried the pasta dishes. Check out the beers on tap too. This is casual food at its best.
