Seriously disappointing cocktails and very bad food. Truffle fries were limp and greasy, swimming in oil. Cocktails were mediocre. Chicken and waffles... Delicious chicken, soggy waffle, cheap fake syrup.

Visited Austin on our holiday and was surprised to find it pretty dead on a Sunday afternoon. Although some of the bars were blaring their music without many customers. We were walking around town and all we found were bars, no restaurants. Maybe we were in the wrong area. Anyway we finally found ten oak and were happy with the... More

After ACL party for our group. Very friendly staff. Excellent craft cocktails. Got to have the bacon wrapped figs, pork covered nachos and the Brussel sprouts. GM stopped by and let us sample new Qui tequila and was not bad. Nice atmosphere. Adults only and perfect for a professional crowd.

no catsup at a burger and fried place? Come on! The burger was good and so were the nachos, and they were reasonably priced. The specialty drink, however, was way too sweet--ugh. And I had made sure to check with the waiter in order to avoid something too sweet.

I asked myself that when the waiter told me they were out of ketchup. Really? I mean the hamburger and fries were good, but would have been a lot better with ketchup! This is a totally average place, nothing remarkable. Not that I wouldn't go back, but I wouldn't make it a destination stop. OK and average describe it the... More

My wife and I went to Ten Oak recently and had a great meal. There were many things on the menu that we wanted to try so we'll definitely be back. Went easy on the appetizer and had queso, which was good - next time will be trying baked brie and fig in a pig - can't wait. They are... More

I will not be going again and hope to save others a bad experience. They treated us very bad and on top of that it is way overpriced. Even if it is downtown, there are other places that are not as expensive and have auch better atmosphere.

The menu drew us in given a number of creative entrees. We enjoy trying different foods. The battered and deep-fried banana peanut butter sandwich was actually really delicious and the whole thing disappeared. If you like bourbons, this place has them all. We tried a few and enjoyed finishing off the meal with desert. They were understaffed making service friendly... More

This business has been hurt by construction in the area and was fairly deserted but then it was a late Sunday afternoon when we stopped in to have something to eat before the Long Center concert. We each ordered-a beer can chicken sandwich and a burger with blue cheese. They were surprisingly very good. It was too much food-we should... More

A real busy night in the 6th street district, Searsucker was packed and there were tons of people around. Ten Oaks must have just opened because it wasn't busy so we sat at a table close to the street. Wow, we had a great young lady serve us, My son wanted to have their fried Peanut butter and banana sandwich.... More
