Order ahead to avoid lines. The brisket was the tastiest juiciest that I've ever had. The beef rib was huge and just as amazing. Enjoyed the sides. Don't miss this place!

We were a little later than last time but the brisket was still amazing! It is our go-to place when we are in Austin. When we were there in October Matthew McConaughey was there...so it must be good!

Got there a little late in the day and we had to wait in line for about 30 minutes so by the time we got to the front they only had chopped brisket, sausage and sides. Still worth the wait. The brisket was the best I've ever had. Same with the sausage. The sides were great too, potato salad and... More

It ranks with Franklin's in the ratings but when we visited there were no lines. It is a food truck and a ways from town so a ride sharing service is a must. It is cash only and can be expensive as you order by the pound and the serving size is large. We did not like the style of... More

Went right at lunch time and had to wait an hour in the food line. Cute little food truck park with picnic tables. The wait went by fairly fast talking with friends and listening to the mariachis playing at another restaurant across the street. Made for some fun ambiance. The BBQ was amazing! So good...don't even need sauce on it.... More

We arrived to a line that we mistakenly thought would take 45 minutes. It ended up being TWO HOURS!!!!!! The food was good but in my opinion, no food is worth a 2 hour wait on line. Also by the time we got to order, the only meat they had left was the chopped brisket. Chopped brisket had a very... More

As others had suggested, we ordered ahead on line. They don't pack up your order until you are your are at the front of the line. Parking is tricky. We loved everything we ordered. Wait was short as we got to get in a pre order line. Cant wait to return!

As with other reviews the parking is awful. Let me preface this that I had ate at a good chunk of the top 50 BBQ joints in Texas (at least according to Texas Monthly). Arrived around 1030am (normally would get to a BBQ joint earlier than this, but this was a hey lets try this trip) only about 9 groups... More

So I have eaten at Franklins, Blacks, Coopers, Salt Lick...all have their special things that make them great, but La Barbeque is ridiculous. The brisket is maybe the best I've ever had. Sausage and sides are top notch too. The GIANT ribs are also some of the best meat I've ever tasted. All in all the place is hard to... More

My husband and I ordered basically everything on the menu. The tip is, prefer online ahead of time to skip the line! Honestly La Barbeque was best beef ribs I've ever had! The meat literally fell off the bone and the blend of bbq seasoning with the combination of smoke was perfection.
