We visited at 1:00 on a Saturday afternoon and there was no wait to order. I got The Pressed Pig and my husband got The Cow which were both cut in half to make sharing easy. After trying both, we decided we liked The Pressed...Pig best, comparing it to a Cuban sandwich. You can’t go wrong with either choice! Bold flavors, and a good value for a filling meal. The chips come with panko breadcrumbs on them (a new experience for us) and it added a nice flavor.More

The food is great, eclectic, fun and just different. The best part of it was desert, but I am not going to tell you the desert because now I have to order it a head of time for my own get together's due to it...being baked when ordered.More

We loved the Cubano sandwich!!! It was fresh and delicious. The service was great too. You could sit in the bar next door and they will bring you the food right to the table.

I'm going to warn you now this place is addictive. I was in town for a weekend and had it twice. These are The type of sandwiches you will dream about for months and months to come. Trust me. I came here with a friend...and had a Cubano it was life-changing probably the best I've ever had. My friend loved his sandwich as well. We enjoy drinks at the bar next-door and they brought the food to us. I definitely recommend this to anyone in town looking for good food and drinks and a fun atmosphere.More

My mom and I ended up just grabbing lunch here as a last ditch effort after we found out the restaurant up the street we had originally planned on visiting for lunch is closed for lunch on Saturday...how dumb!? Anyway, our Uber had already left...so we were stuck in this little section of town. Walked down the street a little and just decided to grab food here since we were very hungry! We both got the Shrimp Sandwich (grilled shrimp, apple, spinach, blue cheese spread, honey drizzle). The gentleman who took our order was very courteous and informed us that after we ordered we could sit on the patio on either side of the truck - a coffee shop on one side or a sport bar and grill on the other. You can order drinks at either place to go with your food as well. We chose a cocktail from the sports bar and sat outside to wait. They brought our food right up to us when it was done. Great service, very affordable. And the sandwich was absolutely amazing. Not a surprise persay, since the food trucks in Austin rival the restaurants, but it was really very tasty and delicious. Ended up leaving happy we ran into Luke's Inside out on a whim!More

Sip a glass of wine next door at Gibson's while waiting for a great burger & fries delivered by one of the friendly staffmembers from Luke's. Lots of room on the patio with your puppy and plenty of attention from Luke's cooks and Gibson's bar...servers!More

Our two best meals in Austin were out of food trucks. Brown's Bar-B-Que wasn't open yet so we stopped at Luke's Inside Out and had another great lunch. Definitely worth stopping at for lunch. Quick service, reasonable prices and good food!

Continued my Triple D tour into Austin over the weekend. The Rabbit was amazing! Very friendly staff and brought the food right over to the bar next door. Can't recommend this sandwich enough.

I found out about Luke's from a hamburger recommendation blog. I then discovered that Luke's had been featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. Luke's is a food truck located next to Gibson's Bar on Lamar street. This set up exists in Austin a lot. The...hamburger did not disappoint. Gibson's provided great bar service and Luke himself even cam by to check on our meal. This is worth the time.More

We tend to try eateries reviewed on Triple D. While in Austin, my spouse and I checked out Luke's. We split the shrimp wrap. While the greens were fresh, the shrimp had no chipotle flavor at all. We paid extra for fries which were basically..."old and cold." Doubt that we'll ever go back.More

We had the Korean Bbq rabbit. Wasn't sure what to expect but it was incredible. Also got to meet Luke later on that evening, he was very friendly. You can sit at the bar next door and eat. It has some decent beers.

I am very disappointed w this place. I got a burger and it was so dry, I could swallow it without water and the meat was so salty and gross tasting I ate about 3 bites before I couldn't eat anymore.... I also got home...and realized we had been charged almost 30 dollars for a sandwich and a burger I didn't even eat! I'm beyond pissed.... What a waste of moneyMore

Traveled to Austin from Sacramento, CA for a few days. Tried a lot of burgers over the years, but Luke's were like none we've ever tasted before. The burger is more like a steak on a bun. Luke says his secret ingredient is his love...sauce. The food is prepared out of a food truck, but it sits next to a spacious bar with a wide assortment of beer, wine and mixed drinks. We discovered that there is quite a burger competition in Austin, but none were better than Luke's.More
