So i left Lenoir about 30 minutes ago and wamted to iron out this review before i put dinner behind me and tried to enjoy the rest of my new years eve. First off, Lenoir is like having 40 people over for dinner in your living room. It's extreamly cramped, loud, and hot. The decor is awesome, but when you... More

Lenoir is one of those places you have to be ready for before you visit and make sure you bring your Smart Device because you may need it to figure out what you are eating. They offer 3-4 prix fixe courses that are quite unique - at least for me. On my visit I had kabocha chawanmushi (sort of a... More

First, I would give it a 3 ½ but that’s not an option. I’m giving it the lower number because Lenoir fancies itself a very excellent restaurant. Had we wandered into a nondescript little restaurant and been served the food we had at Lenoir, I’d have given it a 4. But Lenoir is trying very hard be a Big Night... More

A gem in Austin. Lovely ambiance, with a cute bar area and both private and communal tables. Cute decor. The food is excellent, seasonal and locally sourced menu. I had a pork belly entree that was particularly notable. Highly recommended!

Small intimate restaurant close to downtown. Amazing value innovative prix fixe menu - a 4 course meal was the same price as a single course at other restaurants we sampled in Austin! Service was attentive, but not fussy and the food was exceptional. Tough to get into, but so worth it. Go there with an open mind, don't study or... More

My daughter took me here for my birthday. Upon arrival I was warmly greeted and thanked for choosing Lenoir for my birthday dinner. I was presented with a charming birthday card, signed by the entire staff. This was just the sweetest, most welcome touch. The menu is designed so that you can sample a variety of items in various categories.... More

Are you kidding me? I'm voting twice as I can surely represent my date. My girlfriend is a gourmet eater who sees every show on chefs. From some site she found this place and talked me into going to it. What a fabulous experience; each dish was prepared by a chef or sous-chef formally trained at a culinary institute (we... More

I had high expectations, and they were met. This place is really special. Food you can't find just anywhere. Ingredients you don't find on every menu. It's small, so good for special occasions with your significant other or best friend. Highly recommend! Head's up: wine and beer only. My old fashioned drinking hubs was a little bummed, but the Pinot... More

Friends who are "Foodies" brought us here and raved about the menu. We were seated indoors, the garden area looks like fun. Indoors is very tight seating but comfortable surroundings and vibe. Service was great. First, the menu is confusing listing all the ingredients. It is also limited and price fixed at 3 courses for $45. The categories being; Field,... More
