The Dirty Bird is a paper cone filled with a tortilla wrap stuffed with fried shrimp, fried chicken, cold slaw and ancho pepper sauce. The texture is crunchy from the fried shrimp and chicken. The slaw is cool and crispy. The sauce is hot and sweet. It is perfection at a time when it is hard to find something that... More

Get the cheese sticks, you will not regret it! They are amazingly delicious. Chicken cone also good, I would have preferred a white meat option though

Part of the appeal here is the presentation. We found the Monster cone to be good but the breading overwhelmed the flavor of the chicken, avocado and shrimp.

I'm going to save you money, time and frustration. Order the chicken and shrimp combo. You won't have to experiment with other vendors and be disappointed. You won't waste time standing in numerous lines trying to find that perfect culinary surprise. You'll save money avoiding the expense of spending money on other eating options. The shrimp and chicken combo cone... More

An amazing conglomeration in a paper cup that should be just that, but man oh man, does the combination work. This one I'll stand in line for. Well, a little while, anyway. I used to be sort of regular there when they were on SOCO, but I don't get to the Rio Grande location very often - parking nightmare. But,... More

If you haven't eaten a Mighty Cone, you're kidding yourself. The best food n this town comes from a food truck, period. The chicken is classic, but try the combo with avocado - perfection!

I came at about 7:30pm and there were some people in the food truck area on a Thursday night, but not crowded. I ordered the fried chicken and colesaw cone, which is the aforementioned ingredients wrapped in a flour tortilla shell. It was actually pretty tasty. I don't know if I would wait in a long line for one, but... More

While at Austin City Limits Music Festival this year, we tried the Hot and Crunchy Chicken Cone and Hot and Crunchy Chicken/Avocado Cone from The Mighty Cone and they were both AMAZING. The sauce they put on there was delicious. Would seek this place out again.
