I placed an order on 5/18/20 I was having a little trouble navigating the site so after I placed my order I called the restaurant. The phone was answered by a young woman. I told her I couldn't find a way to add garlic to...my cheese bread and if there was a way y'all would do that. She told me no. So I asked then could you add cheese to garlic bread again she said no. I asked why not and that I didn't mind paying extra and she said cause you can't and hung up on me. This made me uncomfortable I didn't understand why she was being so rude. I even wanted to cancel my order cause I felt so uncomfortable. The only reason we chose Southside flying pizza was because the had cheesecake and my pregnant friend was craving it. so we figured we'd give it a try. The delivery came and there wasn't any cheesecake. So I called back and the same girl answered and I told her we were missing part of the order and she said that they were out and it's not her problem we shouldn't have used uber. So I asked her what her name was and she told me Erika. I said Erika? Like my name? and she said yep. I thought it was weird and then she hung up on me AGAIN. So at this point my friend called back cause I didn't know how to handle to problem. She asked for a manager, greg or craig. She begins to talk to him and tells him how rude "erika" was. He says there's no one named Erika that works there but there is an Anne/Annie and again we are told we shouldn't have used Uber. The cheesecake was refunded but I was left with a horrible taste in my mouth. The food was mediocre and over salted and the customer service was appalling. I have worked in customer service for the last 12 years and what went down is unacceptable. I regret giving this company a single cent and I will not return.More

It cost me $55 bucks to order two tiny gluten free pizzas... skimpy toppings and the crust tasted like cardboard. The normal pizza looked great. But don’t go here for gluten free.

Southside Flying Pizza is delicious. Bought off of one of their Food Trucks. Replicates New York-style Pizza. We tried slices of the Vegetable Combo (great on the Mushrooms) and Pepperoni. Delicious To Go slices. Hard to beat!

Ordered a Southsider Pizza for delivery. Includes pepperoni / ham / sausage / red onion / bell peppers mushrooms / mozzarella / parmesan / romano. Half of pizza was good, but other half mysteriously only had a few toppings other than cheese. Two pieces had...only cheese except for about an inch near the point of the slice. It was very strange, like all of the toppings had slid to the one side! A friend had the spaghetti and meatballs, which were ok. Meatballs were a bit spicy, but not bad if you don't mind a little heat. Not sure I would go here or order from here again.More

Glad we stopped here for a "quick" (I say that because they were busy and it seems that nobody in Austin moves quickly) pizza. The pizza was a solid thin crust pizza. We also ordered garlic knots and luckily they didn't drown them in garlic...butter. In fact, they did not have garlic on them but it was better because the dipping sauce is delicious, nice roasted tomato pizza sauce.More

This pizza was the worst ever. I have had better frozen pizza. After ordering extra sauce and extra cheese on a pepperoni pizza that cost me $20 it was burned and xold as ice. There was scant sauce and the cheese didn't cover. I tried...to call and they didn't answer the phone. Don't waste your time or money.More

Well the pizza was ok was basically a meat lovers(very greasy) was not awful but not spectacular either. The two main put offs were we asked for water and go to the soda machines the water doesnt work had to ask 3 different people about...it ...the first guy literally blew us off about it didn't even respond to us after he came out and looked at it! The second guy wasn't much better kinda just disappeared finally the third guy we mention it to says sorry it got broke yesterday but what WAS nice about that guy he told us we could get a bottle out from the cooler no charge...honestly that's why they didn't get only a 1 out of 5....the other EXTREMELY annoying thing was the HORRIBLE MUSIC THEY HAD BLARRING!!! WAY TOO LOUD!!!.....honestly we only stopped in there because we were waiting to see the bats and there was only one car there everywhere else was packed it being a Sunday....of course now we know why!More

Where to start? Ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and garlic knots for delivery. Super simple. Received a cheese pizza and burnt/inedible garlic knots. The pizza was easily some of the worst I’ve ever had - the crust was hard and the cheese tasted like...plastic. It’s a shame because it actually looked good despite not being what we ordered. The garlic knots were also hard like the crust and tasted like burnt garlic powder. Oh, and delivery took 45 minutes longer than initially estimated! I at least got a refund FOR MY TOPPINGS, but still charged for the pizza. Save your time and go elsewhere.More

Things you should know. 1. If you go in for a slice, it is a quarter of a pizza. 2. It will cost about 9 dollars 3. It will take about 40 minutes, no grab and go here 4. Your slice or pizza if you...get a whole will be mostly toppings. They have a very thin crust which I like. 5. They use 2 kinds of cheese so if you have a thing where you just want 1 cheese, make sure to mention it. 6, Get a lot of napkins cuz this is one greasy pizza which I kind of liked. It is good but big and thus pricey. It is truly 9 bucks worth of pizza but too much for me to eat and it took too long for me to think it was awesome. Especially with the comments made by employees about customers who left, but hey it is a pizza joint not a bank am I right?More
