The food was amazing and they made some special effort to get us vegetarian options. We also we helped to celebrate our birthdays. My only complaint is that it is so dark in there, you could not read the menu. Stephanie our waitress knew all the ingredients in every item on the menu, which really really was refreshing and welcome.

What an amazing place...great ambiance, wonderful service and great food. First time in Austin and this place was recommended to me. It's a pricey place so happy hour is the way to go. You can even make reservations during the happy hour to alleviate a wait.Their happy hour menu did not disappoint and our server was eager to share her... More

If you like delicious food that looks pretty, this is your place. But if you like to leave a restaurant feeling like you've eaten a meal, you might want to try a different restaurant. The portions are tiny.

Everything is divine here. Shag roll - get this and you'll never look back at another roll. It's simply delicious. Don't even look at the ingredients, you'll love it. We've converted people who hate sushi/fish to loving sushi by buying them this roll! Also, wagu beef rock appetizer is great (I don't eat beef, but my beef loving family says... More

What to say .... I've travelled to Japan several times and eaten at many upscale sushi spots. Uchiko is better ... the fresh fish, the atmosphere, and of course the staff. A tip: sit at the bar and let the chef just feed you ... they are really skilled with your pallet and know what is fresh or different that... More

This is a dining EXPERIENCE. Go with chef recommendations and whatever's fresh. The servers are well-informed and won't steer you wrong. They have a social hour where you can get really affordable top shelf sushi. Try the blistered shishitos while you wait. YUM!

Food was phenomenal, but it was a little loud for my needs. Perfect for couples night though. Unique spinning sushi as well as inventive takes on fusion plates. Definitely try the jar jar duck and the brussel sprouts.

One of our favorites in Austin. Busy but not too noise. Everything we've tried has been good. Service ranges from outstanding to very good.

This is an excellent restaurant. I don't eat fish but my family does. They said it was the best sushi they've ever had. I had a hot rock that I cooked steak on and a really tasty fried chicken with Thai seasoning. The fried Brussels sprouts are the best I've ever had. The atmosphere is great and the wait staff...
