Waited in line for over 2 hours, but well worth the wait for the melt in your mouth brisket. Met great folks in line and at our table. Service was friendly and kept us informed in line about whether or not any BBQ was left.

I have to say, it was what we wanted and expected. Wonderful flavors in every bite. A bit of a wait, so come with patience. But worth the experience.

Line up early and hungry. The amazing staff helps you figure out the order that's right for you. People on line chat it up but once that serving of food is on the table in front of you, conversation stops and ecstacy begins.

Standing in the cue is a novelty once and an annoyance the second time. Yes Franklin’s has great BBQ but there are 4-5 other joints with almost as good BBQ without the wait. If you order over 5 lbs and go to the pickup window...More

Best ribs and brisket I have ever eaten. Splurge and get some. Worth the wait and the money. Go early before they run out of meat and have your friends go with you.

We went to Austin with the only purpose to go to Franklin BBQ. We went in the middle of January and the kids from U of Texas were not yet in session for the spring classes. You see all the hype on-line for Aaron's place...More

Whenever I am passing through Austin I always make it a point to stop in at Franklins for some BBQ. Get up early and be prepared to wait, but the food is always worth it.

Franklin Barbecue has really streamlined the waiting process! Helpful staff pointed out the chairs they store under the stairs for you to use while waiting in line, chatted with us about the menu during our wait, and even mentioned that you can go in the...More

Crowds ate the same every day. Be there 1 1/2 hours before open to make sure you get the brisket. If your going in s month, pre order and puck up at the to go orders.
