After walking downtown & hitting different bars it was time to eat. We were referred to Franks, and we very pleased. We loved the hot dog- really, really good. I had the soft pretzel- it's huge (about 8" x12"!) nothing fancy, not expensive ,... just good food!

Great variety of gourmet sausages. Went with a group for dinner but I think the fare is better suited for lunch. Had the alligator sausage with crawfish and remoulade and it was perfect. The flavor combination was out of this world. The fries with gravy and cheese curds had a few of us wondering why we hadn't thought of it,... More

If you like hot dogs you'll love this place. I got the mac n cheese dog and it was quite good. Had a bloody mary to go along with it. My one critique was that the flavors got a little muddy, but it was still good. Would recommend.

I had a vegan chili cheese dog. It's was awesome!! They also have vegan sausage. And for you meat eaters - tons of options. The place is very cool and has a full bar. I was on business so didn't try the drinks. The staff was fantastic - courteous, friendly, knowledgeable. Just all around nice experience!

Dogs were good but when we got home with our food we were missing our veggie options for our daughter. Too busy and too far back to return on a Sat. night Feb. 18th.

If you have a craving for a unique sausage there's no better place in Austin to go than Frank. You can dress up a Chicago Dog or go with one of their creations - I would definitely do the latter. I thoroughly enjoyed the Fico Anatra, a delicious smoked duck and pork sausage dressed with fig mostarda, crispy shallots and... More

If you like to make your Hot Dog your way, or sausages -- than this is the place! The meat is done in-house and very good. A great selection of beers and a hot dog smothered in Chili or sauerkraut and I'm in Heaven!

They just buy the meat, tons of sauce and that's it, a $10 gourmet dish. Spicy sauce on top of a coleslaw salad in my hotdog? Give me a break! Also, there isn't a good amber beer in the entire city (brown beer), so I had to order an IPA beer to have some taste. Finally, please, remove the large... More

Very nice place, good eatery, not expensive, great location, parking available nearby. Try their hot dogs, don't miss out their awesome michelada drink, especially if Allie is the barwoman!

Came here for dinner and drink before going out. I got just a chili cheese dog and it was very good. I also got one of their signature cocktails, named after a ghost, the Miss Margaret, by far the most refreshing drink I've ever had. I also had two glasses of the rose wine because my friend decided to get... More
