Dinner was awesome. Started with escargot with I think a pesto sauce. Then had the duck breast with polenta and braised rabbit. All the cocktails were amazing.

This is a great spot for a simple date night, we love the happy hour drinks and all the food is awesome! The escargot is always a treat and the mussels en coconut brodo is to die for!

We had cocktails here before and wanted to go for happy hour and try the croque Madame. It was terrible. Ham wasn't edible and sauce was disgusting. We've had this dish at other places and in France. Peche version wasn't even close. And the ham- disgusting fat pieces. Won't go back a third time.

If going for drinks, sit at the bar. The bartenders were all great and made all of the drinks enjoyable. I recommend getting drinks that are not on the menu- tell them what kind of things you like and let them make you something special. The food was good as well. Not a ton of food, but high quality.

I dropped in during happy hour one Monday. it has a quaint Irish pub feel with a smattering of tables and chairs and booths along the wall. The bar is the focal point. I sat on the right side which had to 11ft long. There I viewed the most exquisite collection of Scotch I have ever seen in Austin. The... More

We sampled at least five different cocktails at the bar: French 75, Nonino Cup (very heavy on the muddled ginger), Willet Old Fashion, Cucumber Gimlet, and Texas Mule. Willet Old Fashion and Cucumber Gimlet were our two clear faves. Awesome ambience. Everyone went onto dinner after our cocktails. We will have to try the mussels next time.

Had dinner there last night. The lamb chops were on the specials menu at $35. The meat was tough and contained too much gristle. The flavor was nothing I couldn't prepare under my own broiler at home for a fraction of the price. I was there with my wife and another couple. No one was knocked out by either the... More

My wife and I chose Peche for dinner based on the reviews here. We were not at all disappointed. First, this is a true cocktail bar. We tried several different drinks, both classic cocktails and the Peche specialties. Each one was amazing. What I think sets Peche apart, is that they take as much pride in their food as they... Took some out of town visitors for happy hour and they want to go back again. Fries are wonderful, drinks are unusual and very good. Happy hour menu is very reasonable.

When we are a party of 5 and they can only allow us 2 menus, with a reservation knowing we are coming???? I mentioned to our vey rude waiter that "menus aren't that expensive to print" after he took away 3 of ours, his response was, "well, they have to be laminated". GOOD LORD! Service was slow, food was great,... More
