Good Tex-Mex. An Austin institution. Al Pastor and carne guisada are delicious. Parking can be tough on weekends and rush hours, but it is worth dealing with to get the food !

This is a must try for Austin, the décor is quirky and screams AUSTIN, love it so much little thing to view and then the food was great as well, we tried different items to see what was on menu and enjoyed it all, didn't...More

Used to be off the beaten path on Lamar. Now it is easy to be overlooked. We absolutely love this place for brunch. Need to experience; unique and funky. Just like you'd expect in Austin.
Made my way to another Triple D stop and it did not disappoint. A really fun place to kick back and enjoy some tacos.

We had chicken enchiladas: underlying heat from choke verde sauce and perfectly cooked chicken- the avacado stuffed with slow cooked chicken topped with mozzarella is unbeatable. Ambiance awesome. Margaritas need a serious facelift.
Decided to stop by since I know this great Mexican food establishment may close soon. I found out they will stay open as long they can and hopefully for a long while. This place has a unique flavor in their food which make it different...More
Sad to hear Maria's is going to shut down so, go while you can. The food is good, but I am drawn by the Hippie Church that starts around noon. We missed the church part by going too early, but I've been before and its...More
I was sitting eating lunch at Maria's Taco Xpress last Saturday and the thought popped into my head that this is a must see place for my future out of town visitors. Food is decent to great (depending on what you get), decor is eclectic,...More
