I went here for some goulash and it was just ok. The seasoning was not as good as I've had but I would definitley go back and try something different. There were a number of other items on the menu that looked good and I...think this place is worth another try.More

Cozy restaurant serving Russian food. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food delicious. We had stroganoff, potato pancakes stuffed with minced chicken and napoleons. Yum. I enjoyed the hot Russian tea, but will order Russian sugar next time as it is strong.

Great place for authentic Eastern European food. This family run restaurant serves unique food - fortunately, the menu describes those foods which have unfamiliar names. We had full meals including appetizers and deserts, and definitely over ate! Everything was delicious. I had the beef stroganoff,...the portion was large, with the beef very tender over a bed of perfectly cooked noodles. Service was excellent, and the restaurant itself was interesting. They have a store that sells food products from Eastern Europe. Our daughter was thrilled to find jars of what she described as Romanian salsa. I’m glad we ate here!More

The sour pickle soup was so delicious we ordered more! We tried the pierogies, kolduny, shishkebabs and pelmeni and there were empty plates all around. Our kiddos (12 & 9) loved every bite. We will definitely be back when we are in town. The waiter...was also very attentive and service was great! They make everything fresh!More

We do not get to eat here as much as I would like. We now live in Whitney, TX ., but drove there Saturday to celebrate our anniversary and my belated birthday. I have never had anything I didn't fall in love with. Food is...always delicious and the service cannot be beat. They make you feel like family. You cannot get this type of food anywhere else. It's made with love. So glad they survived the COVID shut down. We will be going backMore

The European food was tasty and plentiful. It’s an acquired taste. Three couples had dinner. I had potato pancakes (3) stuffed with ground beef and served with a small portion of sour cream. Surprisingly it was ample. Two others had vegan potato pancakes stuffed mushrooms....Another had beef stroganoff on a bed of noodles. It looked good and was stated to be very good. Another had the stroganoff without the noodles. It was considered a waste of money. The restaurant was clean, with considerable Eastern European retail items on display and for sale. The service was acceptable, but nothing to brag about. It’s an interesting place to visit and I think had we been advised on better food choices (Chicken Keyeve really looked good) our group would have enjoyed the get together more. The menu is online, if you go, look at the menu first and ask questions...the very friendly owner is there.More

We had a wondeful dinner of unique foods. The staff were all extremely pleasant and attentive. They helped us pick a bottle of Georgian wine that paired perfectly with our meal. The portions were very large and we couldn't eat it all. Consider sharing the...large combination platter.More

We had eaten Russian food at a Russian restaurant in Austin so we were very excited about going to this restaurant. Hostess and waiters were very, very pleasant. My husband was pleased with his cabbage rolls but I didn’t like the kolduny. Wasn’t expecting a...gray meat filling with a texture of a McRib. I chalk it up to just not knowing what to order. Everything else was excellent, including wine. They also have a Russian store with food items and very cool jewelry, dolls, and hand painted boxes.More

This place is like stepping back in time. Everything slows down and everyone is smiling. The food is home cooked and delicious. This restaurant is family owned and it shows in their love for each other and in their food. Yes, service is a bit...slow, so don’t go if you’re in a hurry. Great food takes time! I had the beef stroganoff. The noodles were tender—best I’ve ever had. The beef was too. Got the Nutella crepes for dessert and they were great too. Plan to share those!More

Ate here tonight with friends. The food was--and always is--delicious. However, this is probably not the place to go if you are in a hurry. Guess the food is made fresh and it just takes a while. The Russian Language radio playing in the background...was distracting from our conversation. The music wouldn't have been so bad, but the Russian DJ talking wasn't enjoyable for us English speakers. We will still go back in the future--for the food--but it is probably a little pricier than some of the ladies in our group would want to pay very often. Hours are also limitedMore

We went their last night and this was my 4th time going and I have never been disappointed by the service and meal, their was one set back for our party's they only served wine and beer, luckily I drink wine but hate beer, that's...just 4 opinions.I think most people like beer.I had their cabbage roll which I could make as my grandma taught merit was excellent ,we all had something different and totally enjoyed our meal. This will be my restaurant in the future.I love also their is a place to shop for delicious chocolate, plus food and beautiful hand made souvenirs .Please visit that unique restaurant, you would love it as much as I do.More
