I usually go to this restaurant for lunch, since in my opinion, they have the best chopped steak lunch in Arlington. They also have very good and very large breakfast items on an extensive menu. Definitely not fancy, just good food and good service.

Came here with my two boys on a "boys weekend" trip. Friendly service good food and huge portions!! The biscuits and gravy were amazing and the breakfast special was almost too much to handle! Definitely will be coming again when I'm in the area.

They bring you a ton of food so be hungry! Biscuits and gravy are great, the biscuits are homemade and large. They have over 50 types of omelettes. Great service.

I love to eat breakfast out, and here they have homemade biscuits. I had the breakfast special today which was a skillet with either a biscuit and gravy or pancakes. This was a huge breakfast for $7.99! The skillet had bacon, potatoes, bell peppers, and onion rolled into 3 scrambled eggs and topped with cheese. The portions were very generous,... More

This place is simply that. It's okay. It's good food, good and friendly service and good prices. Nothing special about how the omelet was prepared or tasted. It's breakfast food you would expect to get at home. I'm glad I ate here but not a place I would ensure I re-visited on future trips to Dallas-Forth Worth area.

Breakfast here is like a step back in time to any of the country "greasy spoons" in small Texas towns. I say that lovingly. Sort of a place where "everybody knows your name" as you hear lots of conversation between waitstaff and customers, and amongst customers- lots of regulars here, which is fun. Good breakfast menu, energetic waitstaff, and a... More

To be fair, I think this place is known for it's omelets and we did not order omelets. Overall, we were disappointed. Their chicken fried steak is pre-fab and their waffles are frozen and just heated up. I really wonder if they make much of anything in house. I will say, the bread and biscuits were homemade and very good,... More

So when our business group walked in after reading the reviews, we wondered if we should leave. The inside looks like an old Dairy Queen from the 60s. Huge fish tank that is dark, and plain metal chairs. We have tried many breakfast places in Arlington including, the downstairs at the Courtyard (awful and terribly slow and Mimi's which is... More

Wow, reading all the good reviews here you'd think there was something really special about the food given the atmosphere. Here’s my experience: In the first 10 seconds after you walk in the air was damp, like the place was running on a swamp cooler. You could smell the carpet. There is a huge ~300-500 gallon dirty fish tank with... More
