I eat at The Flying Fish atleast once a week when I am in town. Price is reasonable,,,fish is fresh...atmosphere is homey and comfortable. You have a good assortment of side dish substitutes which I like to try out. The menu is fish just about anyway you like it. You order at the counter ...get your own drinks ...receive an... More

Ate here after a long absence, and it's even better. I'm not partial to gulf oysters but got a half dozen and they were fresh and briny. The Mexican shrimp cocktail is very good and huge; I wish they deveined the shrimp in it. They do the regular. Wife likes the catfish. The fried shrimp are butterflied so very crispy... More

I always order the 6 piece fried shrimp but there is a 9 piece as well. Perfectly fried and washes down with a cold beer. Served with either veggies or fries.

I love the Flying Fish! I used to go to the one in Dallas and was so happy when they opened one in Arlington.

This place has a very varied menu. More times than not, I get the frog legs. Huge portions, great atmosphere.

I went about 3:00 on Wednesday afternoon and had quick service. I had a margarita and it was excellent. I ordered the grilled redfish and it was over cooked and dry. It did not have a lot of seasonings on it. The grilled vegetables were alright but could have used a little more seasonings. The green beans were alright. I... More

Looking for fish that is cooked to order for you then you have found the place. Lots of varieties of fish prepared lots of ways. Grilled, fried, baked, with or without sauce. Their veggies are grilled to perfection. See you there.

This Shannon Wynne Restaurant has been popular for many years. It is the classic casual fried seafood restaurant. I've never been disappointed.

Visited with the parentals and while they had already had dinner, dad couldn't resist and had a bowl of jumbo who according to him, was very tasty and we'll seasoned. I ordered a big frosty goblet of Shiner beer, half a dozen of oysters on the shell and a jumbo basket of shrimp with coleslaw and hushpuppies. I love oysters... More

I love their fish, but I really love their veggies! I wish my family liked to eat here more often. The seasoning they use is just right. Not too salty or too spicy.
