Burger is good but not as good as I wanted it to me. Bun wasn't real fresh and was nothing special. Burger itself was pretty good, fries were good. Friend's gumbo was more rice than gumbo. I wish they'd have regular coke products rather than Main Root or whatever fancy cokes.

Had dinner here with family. Ordered bleu cheese stuffed burger, but didn't taste any bleu cheese. One member of our group ordered the chop house special, burger topped with brisket & cheese & it was a hit. Great onion rings. Hot inside of restaurant, it was 100+ degrees outside.

We had a rather forgettable lunch here today. The servers were polite & friendly, and when we ordered, one offered us a sample of the gumbo, which we'd planned to order. It was good, so I ordered a bowl, and my husband got it as a side with his burger. The gumbo we were served as our meal was clearly... More

Had the Chop House Burger and it was good, not great but good...the fries were wonderful, just like I like them, fresh and cooked to perfection. Wife had their Cheese burger and she also said it was good, not great but good. We both thought the interior was a bit dated and what is with the soda fountain that has... More

we are sorry that you did not like Main Root as our choice of soft drinks. It is anything but generic, as a matter of fact it is a new all natural soft drink that is made with organic sugar cane. It actually cost more than coke or pepsi and contains no corn syrup. Many experts agree that corn syrup... More

They are know for there hamburgers which are mixed with I believe shredded brisket into ground beef or chuck. How ever they are made they are very tasteful. The other food that I really like here is there 20dollar chicken back door bag.

The Chop House burger is outstanding, but be sure to ask for it medium if you don't want it overcooked. Mine was cooked to perfection. The fries are just okay, but the sweet potato fries were better. The building is tired. I will go back again for the burger!

Both my wife and I had the Chop house burger. She thought it was good, I too thought it was a good burger but found it to be a little bland. I was expecting it to be alot better than what i got. No dissatisfied by any means, it was still a good burger. Atmosphere and service are top notch.

Saw this place on Triple D...and yes it has a great atmosphere for a dive, cause that's what it is, so don't expect fancy...just great burgers.

Ate here for the first time. Ate the chop house burger, ground beef and brisket. The meat was great, bun was a mess. French fries were very good too.
