Great experience here and definitely going back. We were actually able to sit at the bar and still enjoy the 4 course meal experience, because it was a slow weekday. Sam was our bartender and he was AMAZING! So nice and easy going. It was...my birthday and he made it a memorable one. If you see Sam at the bar, just sot there and keep him company, he will make it a relaxing and easy experience. Thank you Sam!More

Was surprised at the prices. Gratuity was added without our knowledge. Perhaps we should have studied the place more. The cheese Fonda very good. I had beef, shrimp, and chicken for my three choices . The beef was not very tasty. The chicken and shrimp...just ok. The base price was 45.00 and waitress said salad was included but was extra charge for that. I would only go there again just for the fondue. Oh and if you wanted your meat grilled you do it yourself with a grill brought to the table.More

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here recently. Through the years we have celebrated at Melting Pots throughout several states. So we pretty much know what to expect, or not to expect as the case may be. We selected this location, as opposed to...Dallas, due to the reviews. The scales seemed to tilt more towards Arlington. We made a reservation online and received an immediate call back with a confirmation. This process was efficient, and the roses I requested were arranged and awaiting for my wife when we arrived to the table. In addition, we received a warm greeting upon arrival. Great job guys! Our waitress was pleasant and helpful. But we did note that she did not have extensive experience with the cooking oils or menu for that matter. Some of our questions, just seem to go over her head. The food was great, although we always struggle with the menu, and can never seem to find the sweet spot with the correct amount of food. Usually it's too much and Melting Pot leftovers just don't work. For us, it's just the kind of thing that's best served and experienced in house. Our really only complaint was that the service was very slow. It was an off night to boot, so one might expect more effiency. The biggest hiccup was a 25 minute+ wait between our salad and the main course. This was definitely awkward and not what we are accustomed to based on our previous experiences. We both agreed, that overall, the service was slower than usual throughout the night. That said, we still had a great evening and if not for that, I probably would give it 4 stars. The restaurant was clean and atmosphere good. We would agree with other reviews, it's a little pricey for what it is. But then again, it might be just jealousy on my part, that I can't get anyone to pay me for them to cook their own food! You pay for the experience and we know and like that. At least once a year! More menu options would be a plus for those who don't want to take home a "to go box" they'll never eat, because they feel guilting for paying for it and not eating it. Thanks for a great evening Melting Pot! While you did a great job, sorry to say, this night was successful not because of you are, but because who I was with! She's 5 PLUS STARS!!!More

A fondue restaurant is a special kind of place that is fun to go to for a change. Not a huge menu, but that's not the point . Quantity/quality is good, but rather pricey. Went there for a small evening business meeting, worked out pretty...well.More

We have been to this location a few times. The service is always good, friendly staff. The quality of the food has always been good. Something I didn’t know was you can order balloons for the table for a special occasion. Now that I know...about the balloons, here is my suggestion. It seems they have two colors of balloons, they have the Melting Pot printed on them. They included a red heart Mylar balloon, with the Melting Pot printed on it. If your in a pinch to add a dash of festive, call and ask for the balloons to be placed on the table. They charge 14.00 for them, I was in a pinch and appreciated it.More

I just love the melting pot. It is a wonderful place to go celebrate a special event. Plan on spending 2-3 hours for the 4 course experience, which I recommend. It includes cheese fondue, salad, meat fondue (there is also a vegetarian option) and finally...the chocolate fondue. Cost runs $40-$50 per person for the 4 courses. It is great for a romantic dinner for 2 or for a large group of friends getting together for a night of fun. Reservations are recommended especially on weekends and holidays or for large groups.More

We have 5 kids and we let them choose the restaurant for their birthday dinners. One of our sons always chooses this restaurant, which we are so happy with every year. The service is always great and the food is perfect for our family!

Aren't shrimp supposed to be deveined? Yes they are. All 6 of ours were not. We did it ourself before cooking. Bad potato given to us to cook. Quality seemed lacking.
