This is an old time diner, across from the HEB. We had breakfast here and it was great, would recommend. They don't skip on the bacon, portion sizes are good and the pancakes were great.

Great family restaurant. The food is good, servings are more than enough and the staff is fast and friendly. You won't go wrong eating here. This is where the locals go, which as usual, is a good indicator of value and quality.

Had dinner with a group of friends. Service was very slow & they weren't busy. Dish that we ordered was OK, not great.

Delicious food, friendly service, huge portions and an ample selection of breakfast items! We took our son who is 14 and he could only eat about half of his cheese omelette, I had a bite and it was really delicious!

We ate here everyday for breakfast and it was really good. This place is clean and affordable and won't break the bank. The staff is friendly, helpful and kind. Don't be surprised if you have to wait for a table. We didn't realize this but there is another whole side of tables around the corner. So, come on in and... More

We've been here twice now on a Sunday morning before the church crowd. They stop serving breakfast at 11 so beware of that if you are leaving Port A with the ferry wait. We had the lunch today- roast beef sandwich, fried chicken, kids fish and kids chicken fried steak. We ordered fried mushrooms for an appetizer but waited 35... More

Nice little old style diner. Stopped there twice for breakfast after getting off the Port A ferry. Good biscuits. First time was a better experience; second time the service was very slow.

This place is reasonably priced and if you want home type cooking from the 1950's this is the place for you! They have hamburgers and chicken fried steak that are indeed delicious. Also pies and desserts that are good too. If you are looking for non fried healthier options you won't find it there ! I got a bean soup... More
