There's a mile of Route 66 right in Amarillo so it's worth driving through. Some shops and restaurants to replicate the time of an active highway. Wild Bill's was a good choice for casual food, setting, etc. Comfortable menu, featuring the homemade potato chips. They were...delectable. Sandwiches, wraps, salads, entertainment, etc. Great waiter, so anxious to make our visit positive. We liked it.More

Scheduled a time with the girls for an after work drink and snack. Arrived about 5:30pm, seated outside. Great service, she told us her name, what was offered, and asked for our drink order. About 4 of us ordered drinks, one of us ordered and...appetizer and a meal. If you like spicy food, definitely try the Hotzarella sticks. Really enjoyed the fact that they bring out coozies with the beer. FYI only have bottled beer and 3 kinds of mini wine. After about 30-45 minutes, a few of us ordered. Another 2 to 4 ladies showed up, by this time service was starting to slow down. 2 more orders for food were placed. I ordered the appetizer trio, was pretty delicious; however since service was slowing down, 2 orders came out prior to mine. I didn't complain since now we were now a party of 10. Towards 7pm, half of us asked for the bill which came out promptly. Paid, reasonable amount, appetizer and 3 drinks about $20. What would have made this an exceptional experience - outside music (speakers would have been just fine) and same quality service throughout the whole meal. Would recommend.More

I wanted to take the family down along Route 66 to see a little bit of history, and we stumbled upon Wild Bill's. Great Burgers and lots of interesting history inside. Recommended.

The service far surpassed our expectations. Becca was friendly and on point! The food was killer yummy. We will definitely be back for more burgers, wings, fries, and cold beer!

My husband and I stopped at wild bills for lunch on our Route 66 trip. We were greeted and seated as we walked in. It was fairly empty as it was a weekday and midday. The restaurant was decorated with all sorts of memorabilia which...made it fun to explore. The food was great it was fresh and tasted wonderful! Great service and a great stop for those looking for a great tasting home cooked meal!More
