Ordered the Duke, had to meet the chef and shake his hand, Ed made the best steak I ever had! Even better than the steak I make at home, and we raise our own beef. Kaylyn was my server and did an outstanding job, one of the best servers I've had. Overall it was an incredible experience that lived up... More

Pretty good all around. Ribs a little tough and lean on meat. Okra very good. Cole slaw ok. Atmosphere western and plenty of taxidermy on the walls. Definitely scratch it off my bucket list.

We love to go to the Big Texan for their weekend brunch. At first it does not look like a big offering, but it is filling. They serve cheese enchiladas, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. You can also get an omelet made with fresh ingredients. There is a variety of cereals and a variety of fruits. You can also... More

Went for the Chicken Fried Steak, my wife had the ribeye steak. We started with the prime rib potato skins for the appetizer and were happy we did.

I did not know this restaurant was in Amarillo, but I knew it's famous, so I had dinner there. The entire atmosphere is pure Texan. The food is incredible, the servers are polite and the wandering singing cowboy adds color to the overall experience. Great food and liquor selections, and plenty of entertainment for the family.

We stayed at the Amarillo RV park and took the free limo to the restaurant which was great. The food in here is spectacular. Massive portions and all the sides you can imagine. I wasn't brave enough to try the 72oz challenge but i did smash a 24oz beautiful steak cooked to perfection. You won't go wrong eating here. The... More

Obviously coming from the UK we knew of this place by watching it on TV, so we really wanted to come here. We expected to wait so be prepared for that, but after 20 mins we were seated. They have everyone in rows and rows of bench like tables with booths around the perimeter. We went on the night they... More
