If you want generous, delicious home cooking, this is the spot for you traveling through Amarillo. Locally owned with friendly staff. Pass by the chains and stop here.

Typical diner breakfast. Good coffee. Good portion sizes for the cost. Enormous 'silver dollar' pancakes.

Sunday morning early, still crowded. 15 minute wait for table, quite a wait for food. Cinnamon roll was good. Pancakes were ok, not great. Breakfast burrito was good.

What a great find! And truly they have fluffy great tasting pancakes. The turkey sausage was plump and juicy (not done hard disc you get at some places); the omelette was a healthy portion; the Dutch baby is big enough for two or more people....Great prices- a hidden gem just off the interstate.More

We used to go there every time we were in Amarillo. But that was a couple of years ago. We stopped because our favorite waitress quit and it seemed that the management had changed ... as well as the whole atmosphere. There were several young...men just standing around. The food didn't seem to be the same quality and so we quit going. But recently we decided to give it another try. The waitress was good though I don't like being called "Sweetie" (or my husband to be called "Sweetie"). The food was good. I cleaned my plate. So we will probably return again.More

This was a great stop on our road trip. This hole is the wall is swarming with locals, and now I see why. This small place is quick to get people in and out. They deliver great food and incredible charm. The staff is kind...and welcoming and goes the extra mile to make sure your visit is excellent. The breakfast was hearty and had tons of variety. I would stop here anytime I am driving through Amarillo.More

Meals are always fresh and hot as if you prepared them yourself at home. Service is excellent. May have short wait-worth it.

Had breakfast here and it was nothing special. Wife had the half order Benedict with over medium egg, ham, pancakes & salsa on the side. I got the senior two eggs soft scrambled with ham, hash browns & biscuits & gravy. Her egg was cooked...properly, and she liked the pancakes, but she was glad for having salsa on the side as she didn't like it. I had to send my plate back because the eggs were under cooked and runny. Server said that's the way they do soft scram. I said okay, then have them cooked medium scram, which they did. Ham was bland, hash browns okay, biscuits bordered on being dense and gravy was also bland and lumpy. Best part of our meal, the coffee. Not good! The small place isn't fancy, inside or out, and our server was only adequate. We might return for lunch next time we're in Amarillo.More

Awesome breakfast, kids like the cakes but the real gem here is the green eggs and ham Benedict. Will be back!
