Little "hole in the wall" place. "Oldest restaurant on old Route 66"! Located in what I can only explain as the "Antique"district on 6th Street . Absolutely wonderful burgers! Cheese fries were awesome too!! Service was exemplary!! Will definitely come back!!

Saw this place on tv show Texas Bucket List and forgot it was in Amarillo! Delicious hamburger crunchy crisp fries and ice cold beer in a frosty mug. If you're in the area and you need a good greasy burger this is your place. Only 4 stars because a/c not great and limited seating.

One of my favorite places. Always offers great live music booking local and touring groups. Step next door for good old fashioned burgers, fries and a full menu of diner food. Place your order and return to the bar or dine on the cafe side. Place is not very large, get there early for dinner and a good seat, nonsmoking-a... More

Found this on a Route 66 article while traveling across the country. So happy we chose to make a stop here. Delicious, juicy green chilli cheeseburger and largest order of a small fry I've ever had. $4 pitcher of beer. Sitting among the locals who were very friendly. Would definitely recommend a stop in.

It was a pretty awesome! Flagstaff pie was super filling! The all the way to LA was also a great hit! Such a good decision and love the quaint feel to it!

Even though it's an old favorite...it never gets old!! Our family absolutely loves the burgers. My wife recently got braces so she had the chili this last time. She explained it had the right about of spice without being too greasy. If you want a special experience with excellent staff(and if you like cold beer) we would highly recommend eating... More

Hamburgers are juicy and very good. We've only been once because they allowed smoking and we can't handle smoke. Lots of bikers go there. Bikers are so friendly. While there take a stroll down 6th street to the antique store also known as old Hwy 66.

We had lunch there on a Saturday. It's a great little dive type of place. Their hamburgers are great and the beer cold. Located on 6th Street, it's a nice break from antique shopping. We will definitely go back!

This place opened in 1947 and has been a landmark in Amarillo on Route 66 since, with famous burgers, grilled cheese and fries. Nights and weekends buzz with the patio and beer crowd. Food is affordable and consistently good. The atmosphere uber casual and the walls are covered in history and nostalgia. For four burgers, two small fry baskets, four... More
