Do not be put off by the look of the place, either outside or in. This place a the best dive atmosphere down to the loud friendly waitresses. We loved everything about this place. The burger were cooked perfectly, big and messy. If you are...visiting Amarillo you must try this place out. They are closed on Sunday and Monday, though so plan appropriately.More

Found this place on Trip Advisor, decided to have dinner after the reviews on here and Google and it held up to the stars. Though without the reviews you probably would think twice of eating here looking at the building, but that’s also what makes...it appealing. Sara (without the H - my daughter is with an H), was very sweet and helpful being first timers. The reviews said the beers were COLD out of the trough (old iron bathtub), and they sure were, just how I like my beer. My husband had the Hamburger Hell and said it was hot, but not uneatable. I got the mushroom and onion burger and loved it, surprised myself and ate the entire thing. The cheese fries were ok, but the chili soup samples Sara gave us were hot and very good. We ordered one of each to go for our a dinner on our MH trip to Las Vegas, we stopped by Amarillo as a layover on the trip and if ever in the area again, will definitely come back for another fabulous hamburger, cold beer, and service. Oh and there is a review on YouTube just search Coyote Bluff Cafe, you’ll be glad you did.More

Do not miss this gem! Best burger I have ever eaten! It is a bit run down from outside, but awesome character on inside with fun, happy waitresses! Loved the entire experience. Get there early, we went 6 minutes after they opened and was able...to get the last table. Minimal seating but worth the wait! It’s a must when in AmarilloMore

Came here as it was close to our hotel and had received such great reviews. They only take orders online and don’t answer the phone after the recorded message. Strange. My husband and I shared a burger which filled us up. Also ordered a half...fries half onion rings. The rings were fantastic as others have mentioned. Fries pretty limp by the time we got back to hotel but imagine they’re quite good if eating in. Our Bill had a 10% tip automatically added and came to $16 and change. Would definitely recommend and hope to go there again.More

We drove 10 hours to get a burger here (ok, in all fairness we were passing through But we did plan the trip so that we would be passing through at dinner time as a surprise for the kids!). We tried this for the first...time in July of 2015 on our way home from LA and it was awesome! This year we got to have it again on our way out to San Diego!! And we are trying to arrange our return trip's timing so we can have it again in 10 days!!! Funny story - on our first trip, after ordering our dinner we noticed that EVERYONE in the (small) restaurant was coughing (very concerning) so we asked our waitress who was Not coughing and she started laughing "Oh, I guess the cook is grilling the hot peppers. It happens Every time but we don't cough because we're used to it!". To be honest, we were a little disappointed that it didn't happen this time since we were waiting for it! ;)More

Found this gem thanks to Trip Advisor. Originally tried to go to the tourist trap right off I-40 but at 9:15pm there was a 1.5 hour wait. Turned to Trip Advisor and found this place. Such great food, wonderful service and cold beer. Prices are...great too!More

Looks like a "hole in the wall" kind of place. Very cute and quaint. Very clean with great service, good burgers and COLD beer (right out of the trough full of ice). Would definitely go again!

Amazing food and great service! We had the California burger and the Swiss Mushroom burger, with a half and half basket of French fries and onion rings. These burgers are two handfuls, you may have to cut them to make it easier! The fries were...among the best that I’ve ever eaten, hand cut every day, with just the perfect amount of salt. Don’t let the small building fool you, this place is packed with wonderful food and super friendly people!More

Great food and atmosphere! They have a waiting area outside with picnic tables behind a sun shade. You could grab a beverage from the ice downed bath tub and take outside. Not sure how it works if it’s raining. We had a nice visit with...a local couple while we waited. They told us this place has been around a long time and is one of their favorites. The wait was quick and once we ordered we saw why. The food came out quickly, but it certainly didn’t taste like fast food. We had the chips, salsa , and queso first. My husband had a steak cooked to perfection and the rest had the grilled chicken salad in a delicious shell like a taco salad. The whole wait staff was very friendly and the place has that fun, lively atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable! So glad our hotel was close! Definitely worth the stop if you love casual and local hot spots!!More
